  This hotel is set in large grounds behind a gated wall, worth a stroll before dinner.
  Very comfortable large rooms and in the restaurant good food. We liked the sound of a lively drink in the Tavern Bar but on entering it was dark and empty. If it was full of people it would have been obviously much better. Although the hotel is in the confines of Shanghai we had problems getting back to the hotel after our car and driver left us at the Bund for a boat trip. A lot of taxis on the road but getting one was not easy, one refused to take us and the one we did get had difficulty navigating his way. He also gave us a fixed price above the meter rate recognising how desperate we were for transport. (still cheap compared with UK taxi rates). Of the cites we visited in China Shanghai was our favourite, old Colonial British buildings on one side of the river and the fantastic futuristic buildings on the other. If we return I would choose a hotel nearer the river, however this is a very good hotel.

  I stayed here since I'm personally a history lover, you could totally explore Xingguo area with the guide book which the hotel provided. I love the architectures here, beautiful houses with decent history. A lot of good Cafes and European influence here, I enjoy walking around the hotel during the evening. This place is well-known if you ask Taxi or Uber driver, super classy hotel. I would definitely come back again since it offers some experiences that Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt doesn't provide. One last thing, the Wifi needs to be improved, it's the only downside.

  Thank you for a pleasant stay I will stay again. The staff are very helpful and also go that extra mile to ensure your every need is both covered and you are happy. The location is such a change from the surrounding area where this little area in and amonst all the tall buildings is a wonderful garden space.

  The Radisson Blu Shanghai is a tastefully decorated, well run, fairly priced hotel, offering a very large swimming pool and great restaurants. I was particularly pleased with the staff and their efforts to be of assistance. Front desk manager, Jackie Wu, dealt with a door key problem and followed up to have the lock replaced and offered us complimentary buffet dinners as a courtesy. Concierge, John Zheng, found a music store to help me with a Chinese musical instrument I bought and gave me careful directions to find it. Staffer, Lawrence Ng greeted me every morning at breakfast with a smile and prompt service. The hotel provided that special home away from home feel which is so important in a foreign country.

  We went to this hotel for about 3 days when we came here in july last year. It is beautiful with a huge lobby and luxurious rooms. It is a very good price for such a fantastic hotel and I would definitely come again.
