Great if the price is right
Lizhe L
Melbourne, Australia | Oct 20, 2025 | Trip type: Solo travelFirst of all, I had a cheap deal on this hotel, so for the price I got, I'm very happy with the room. The room was a bit old, but it was quite big and very clean, standard complimentary tea and coffee, safe, fridge and mini bar. They even had an electronic toilet, which was cool. Great view out of the window overlooking the Yan'an express way.
One big plus was the reasonably sized office table in the room, and I was able to do some work done without having to put up with tiny working space.
The TV signal was good, it had all the standard International channels.
Front desk was average, they were nice but maybe too casual for a 4 star rating hotel.
The downsides include the location, it was slightly far from the subway stations, I love to walk so it wasn't a big problem with me. No real food places around, if you arrive a bit late, you'd have to settle for McDonald's near the shopping center.
The other thing was there was a man trying to take people to prostitutes in the front of the gate, he was there every day and he tried to speak to me in Chinese, Japanese and English.
The cleaning lady completely ignored the "do not disturb" sign. Although this is a common problem in Chinese hotels. When I explained the sign to her she was surprised and claimed to have no knowledge of its function. Nice one hotel training!!! She was good enough to compensate by giving me lots of free tea bags, so I was okay with it. -
An 'average' rating may be a stretch.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands | Sep 30, 2025 | Trip type: CouplesYou need to manage your expectations because it's not like the website portrays it to be. Rooms: Described as 'newly renovated' yet are in desperate need of another renovation. Good beds and clean. Smoking: If you are not a smoker, definitely ask for the non-smoking 'floor', not just a non-smoking 'room'. And then IF you are lucky, you will avoid some of it but certainly not all. Executive Lounge Access: Don't waste your money. The SPA: Unexpectedly closed and has been for some time. Taxi's: Practically non-existent. If visiting sights in the city center, plan to take the subway (Line 10) which is an easy 15 min walk from hotel. If you need a taxi for the airport, pre-order it and build in time for it to arrive late. Location: Two shopping centers are 5-10 min by walking and offer some good restaurant options. Staff: They mean well and try hard, even though it's impossible to accommodate some simple requests. Ability to speak and/or understand English is extremely limited making it difficult to communicate.

Bengaluru (Bangalore), India | Aug 25, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessI got to stay for 4 days at the hotel recently.
Very neat and well maintained ambience ,Courteous staff, prompt service all seemed exceptional. At restaurant in the first floor the hospitality extended by each of the staff
had been exceptional. Anything that I asked for was served with a smile on face.
Location of the hotel is quite good as it is not far from places of tourist attraction. From airports ,both international and domestic , it is not that far.
Restaurant serves wide spread of food hence even for foreigners no much problem of
food selection occurs. Variety of breads, fruits , juices and Chinese foods make one select what can suffice his hunger.
Rooms are well furnished, Neat and fresh linens , and cosy pillows give good sleep.
Rooms at top floors ( 22 nd upwards),have more spacios bathrooms than at lower floors.Only one thing that needs to be commented is unavailability of anti -skid tiles in bathrooms , however , with slight care on floor ,no more discomfort exists.
With the reasonable rate, good location, hospitable staff , well maintained rooms and
wide tasty option of food in restaurant, the hotel , I do feel is worth recommending. -
Loved it

Aug 15, 2025 | Trip type: Friends getawayI visited in July 2012 on a large group tour. This was our first location to stay while we were in China. It turned out to be one of my favourites. The restaurant was great, the staff were friendly and the room quality was very nice!

Nottingham | Aug 7, 2025 | Trip type: CouplesRoom was fine, reasonable breakfast. We were booked in as part of a tour we were on. It was a little way out of city centre, but fortunately the underground train was close by and easy to use.
Amenities at hotel were ok, staff were nice. Lots of tours tend to use the hotel, certainly used for business men/women.
No major issues.
