  When I book the hotel for one night, I was expecting more from this class of hotel. First, the hotel’s infrastructure needs updating . The water pressure in my room was low, and no USB ports to charge anything.
  The room is a little dated but I am not sure if that is the desired effect
  The service was a little stiff compared to the other hotels that I stay in whenever I go to China
  Anyway, I am not impressed with this particular hotel

  Always feel relaxed to stay in Shangri La. The manager, Ms Kitty Wang, has been particularly helpful and very efficient. She has assisted me with numerous transactions with the hotel since about 5 years ago. Will definitely revisit it!

• great view and great service

  i came to stay for one nignt with my wife and child. my room was upgrade to a superior bund view room of course with great bund view. the staffs at the horizon club is great and provide the best service to customer. they get a child seat for me from jade 36 on 36th floor. the beautiful girl cares my child very much. my child 30 months is even get addicted to her.... anyway, the hotel is great and people are very nice. i would recommend you to stay here and book the horizon club room. the food at the club is amazing.
  
  at last, i wish to thank Danny, Zayn, Rolan, and Jolin at the horizon club who are passionate and always ready to help.

• Solid Shangri-La quality

  Staying in a Shangri-La is usually standard and solid quality, the chain itself provides good quality stay with spacious rooms and relatively stable service.
  As usual the breakfast is very busy, but also here the staff at least try to arrange things smoothly.
  Solid quality and service.
  
  Tourist and financial area around. MTR station in walking distance. Many shopping and food options around.
