  I stayed in this hotel for total 6 night. Room is very spacious even for my room occupied 3 persons.. Still very comfortable. Room is clean and bed also comfy. Location just about 5 minute walk to shanghai railway station and 15 minute through railway station to one of the fake market in shanghai. Also very easy to get food since many option in around station. For me breakfast is the most area need to improve. No food rotation, i even can close my eyes and know where you can find the food. Hotel should improve the food quality and variaties. Staffs are very friendly and helpfull for me this is biggest points hotel should maintain. Overall i am happy with everything but breakfast. Will come again for sure if i go back to shanghai.

  We used this hotel for 2stays in the package tour with only 25,000JPY(=230USD) from Tokyo.
  The hotel is very tall building and has modern facilities.
  But in our room,there were some dirty or broken parts in the point of an outlet, wall and shower room.
  We can not say its well-maintained.
  You should know the rooms don't have a bathtub and a refrigerator.
  Breakfast had good selection of meals but some of these tasted slightly like junk food.
  Considering to the very cheep price, we were satisfied but generally it's not perfect.

• Big Room but Long Walk from Train Station

  The staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms are big and clean. Breakfast was messy and over crowded. Booked this hotel as we were taking train the next morning but it was a long walk from the train station.

• Good hotel and affordable

  Good hotel. Very close to shanghai railway station and metro station line 1,3 and 4. Breakfast is ok. Service is ok as well. There are nearby convenient stores and fast food like McDonalds. If you are on a budget, i would recommend this hotel.

  This was the last hotel on our China tour and compared to the others, it was the most basic.
  
  It was being refurbished at the time we stayed (Nov 17). It needs it, as it's a very drab hotel with little going for it other than being very close to one of the biggest train stations in Shanghai and being beside Optical City if you're after cheap glasses.
  
  The included breakfast was probably the worst of the four hotels we stayed in in China. The hot items were lukewarm or cold. Though it was the first hotel in China to have semi-decent coffee included with their breakfast.
  
  I walked to The Bund one night and it was about a 5KM walk, so the hotel isn't really close to much to walk to.
  
  We ate in the restaurant one night, the only ones there to start with, and more staff than customers. We had an OK soup, the menu was pretty limited and on the more expensive side compared with the food available around the hotel (which was a plus).
