Had a great stay with Grand Kempinski in Shanghai.
The room was spacious, clean and had a good view of the river and city area.
The foods and drinks in the executive lounge was very good. The service staff were very attentive, helpful and courteous.
Ms. Judith Pinera, the Service Manager was most very efficient in running the lounge and always making sure that we were comfortable and taken care of.

Location is fantastic for business travellers and also for family. Grand Kempinski Shanghai is my company choice hotel, whenever we have business trips. Last December, I brought my family for holiday in Shanghai and we stayed at the hotel. Family members were so impressed with the hotel. The staff are always so hospitable and friendly. This is especially so in the business lounge at level 28. Excellent view and good food.

A wonderful hotel with good rooms and amenities. Got an upgrade to an executive room and was invited to the executive lounge. Views on Shanghai and river are breathtaking.

Always stay here when in Shanghai

The Kempinski has become a home away from home, always stay here. Good location, lovely rooms and staff very helpful, also very useful for business meetings. It was snowing during our recent visit and unfortunately the snow/rain made the carpet in the foyer a bit smelly, damp. The staff are always very welcoming and helpful, especially Judith in the Executive Lounge, couldn't do enough during our stay. The happy hour in the lounge was very good, far better than in previous years and although we prefer to eat in local restaurants (which we did every day) nice to come back after a busy day working. The food was excellent, a nice blend of Chinese and Western, well done! Enjoyed our stay as always, will be back !

Kempinski rocks for first timer in Shanghai

I have travelled for business for over 25 years. This was my first trip to Shanghai but have travelled to other cities in PRC. GKHS was a great hotel, lovely opulent rooms, clean and excellent service. It was easy access to all financial district and metro. I especially appreciated the executive lounge where I enjoyed breakfast and dinner. The staff there were extra attentive and helpful for any need. One of the team leaders Judith made it her personal quest to make me feel at home... I will certainly be staying there again later this year.
