Our family finished our holiday in China at the Fairmont. We don't normally review our hotels. But this time we wanted to pass on how impressed we were with the hotel. The room was very large and comfortable, room service was fast and friendly, but above all was the service in the Club. Breakfast, afternoon tea and evening service was abundant and of great quality. Each night a new dish was show cased.
Harrison the Aussie Club Manager was very helpful and he and his team should be commended for their level of service.
Wonderful stay. Would stay again.

Here with a group last week. What a remarkable hotel. Spent time with the general manager and the team. What a pleasure. Thanks for the tour. I will be back. The hotel is just gorgeous. Loved my room and bathtub. Steps away from the Bund was just perfect.

We first stayed here around thirty years ago long before it was a Fairmont and before there were as many hotel options in Shanghai. We loved it then as we do now and it has a fantastic location on the Bund. It's had a face lift since Fairmont but the classic old jazz bar is still around and not to be missed!

As a family of 4 we stayed here for 2 short nights on the end of our China tour. What a fantastic location and beautiful Art Deco building (the restoration is superb). Right on The Bund and close via walking or taxi to a lot of sights (Shanghai Tower, Old Town, French Quarter etc). We always try and book Fairmont Gold suites as they offer great value (2 Queen beds here). Harrison is the exceptional manager of Fairmont Gold and Harrison and his staff looked after us and our needs extremely well.
We went to iconic Jazz Bar (Harrison kindly reserved seats for us). This is a must if you are in Shanghai! We will definitely stay at the Fairmont Peace Hotel on our return to Shanghai.

Fantastic location on the bund. The jazz bar and high tea were great. Comfortable room with good wifi and a safe. The Chinese restaurant in the hotel was great - we ate there twice and had window seats overlooking the bund lights (1700 and 2000 yuan for 2 including wine). We’d stay again.
