  A busy hotel in a convenient location.
  Despite the high volume of guests pouring through the hotel the check/out experience was smooth and quick.
  The eating options in the hotel are also very good and well priced. The service was exceptional.
  The room was well appointed but did have the unmistakable small of cigarette smoke from a previous guest

  I only stayed here for 1 night but, man, I wish I had stayed here for longer. The view is just incredible and you are walking distance to all the fun Shanghai sites. It has the typical Westin quality and service but the location and views are what impressed me the most. Will be staying here again next time I’m in Shanghai!

• Nicely located and very nice

  I had to spend a day in Shanghai before flying back to the US and my local contact choose this hotel for me. It was a good choice. As many already wrote this hotel is perfectly located 5-10 min walking from the Bund and with a lot of nice place and restaurant - including the "Traditional Beijing Roast Duck Restaurant" - near by.
  This is a great mix of western and Chinese style. The rooms are spacious and perfectly set up. Very comfortable beds, nice bath room. Internet is OK with the usual "issues" in this country. What I like the most during my relatively short stay are the executive lounge, very quiet and the fitness center, ideal to prepare for a long flight over the pacific. The service was very professional. Only little disappointment: my room did not have a great view this time but...

• Good hotel central location

  We stayed here for a few days and enjoyed our time. It is quite a busy hotel as expected for central Shanghai but this did not effect our stay. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Rooms were serviced everyday and were always spotlessly clean. Good wi-fi.The breakfast buffet selection was very good. The concierge team were very helpful as well. My Starwood level was also recognized and we received an upgraded room. All staff we encountered were pleasant. Very close to The Bund and the major shopping areas. My only gripe would be that it seemed difficult to get taxis. Whilst not the hotels fault it was a bit annoying. Good solid hotel in a central location.

• Lovely central location of property

  I really enjoyed my time at this hotel. Easily accessible to shopping area (Nanjing road and ...), subway and bus station.
  The building is so luxurious and because of platinum member of SPG, they upgrade our room to a slightly bigger room. The hotel has a nice buffet spread and you can find so many different delicious foods.
