The Crowne Plaza does what it's supposed to do- provide clean, comfortable lodging at a reasonable price. It does a good job of it, and without an attitude. The staff in all departments (perhaps save the Chinese restaurant) is friendly and helpful (special mention to front desk, housekeeping, and club lounge personal). Guestrooms are comfortable...most comfortable bed I've experienced in China...and an excellent tub and shower. If you need an in-town hotel, I believe you could do no better in Sanya. If I'm ever back, I'd stay here again. By the way, we stayed for ten days and noise was never an issue. It is true that WiFi is seriously slow., but that goes for all of Sanya

Hotel quite near to downtown. This hotel used to be Ramada Plaza, now it is re-branded to Crowne Plaza. Large hotel with two guest room towers. Busy reception area and lobby. A lot of construction around hotel site. Short walk to the city. Good seafood hot-pot buffet. Breakfast was ok. The pool area is quite nice. Rooms modern.

Great Location, Okay Service, But Disappointed Dinning

As long as you walk into the hotel, you are facing a beautiful lobby. The IHG member recognition is excellent. We are upgraded to a better room. The room is clean and cozy, but the dining experience doesn't meet our expectation. We had a buffet one night, and the meat and fish are not fresh considering Hainan is an island. I can see the restaurant staff are lack of motivation. The management should put more work into training the staff and provide fresher raw materials for the restaurants.
