  Being an SPG Platinum member, they treated me like Royalty (which is rare from most SPG hotels in the USA that I've been to). They upgraded me to a beautiful suite on my first night before transferring to the nearby St. Regis resort the next day (which they made arrangements for transport). On my return to Sheraton on my last night, I was upgraded to their unbelievable "Diplomatic Suite" that included a wrap-around terrace w/dipping pool and panoramic views of Yalong Bay. This was totally unexpected and not asked for on my part. I was blown away by their first class service. Their Mandara Spa was also very beautiful and relaxing when I got a facial and aromatherapy massage.

  We went for a short break to this resort. The area is super clean and well set, the resort itself also. It's not luxurious, but rooms are spacious and the gardens and pools are quite nice. The beach is big and very pleasant and we notice staff cleaning it everyday. The breakfast is average, we were expecting much better. As the tourists are mainly Chinese (we were the only Westerners there at the time), it's all directed to them - it's normal, but if Sanya wants to be an international holiday destination, it has to improve the details and add a bit of sophistication. This said, I must stress the staff was really nice (altough most of the Chinese staff English is really poor!) and the Nepali trainees very helpfull (Prakash and Saroj were always very kind). On the Chines side, I would like to thank Jason, Carson and Blue. Overall, a good experience, but the resort it's not at the expected Sheraton level...

• Very relaxing hotel

  The beach was beautiful and clean, despite lots tourists coming in the winter time,
  The food was good and the hotel was huge, the beach has lots of fun activities to do,

  The hotel very nice and have very big lobby
  We was having meetings at the hotel lobby and found that only trainee that can communicate in English howmuch event the basic like hot water or ice associated can't understand.and we where with our business partner very sad that every time you want to order more drinks you have to stand up and go the bar to order more drink by yourself.
  The music is not Matt with lobby hotel at all.
  I believe if you are provide more training that would help the staff to more attractive and can improve for their future too.
