• An Impressive and unexpected service from Venera

  Two weeks ago I was in Huangdao on my short work trip, after visiting a school, I was stranded on searching a place where to go to relax, while I was in west ring island road not too far from the Golden beach, then I came across a breathtaking view, and surprisingly found a Hilton resorts here, right after, I was curious about walked into this hotel, wasn't really intend to book any rooms, apparently, I unconsciously walked up the front desk then engaged in an interesting consulting journey by one of the receptionists-her name's Venera, however, during the conversation I have aware of their all varieties of food are prepared with using fresh ingredients which are sourced from local farmers and markets closeby for all the restaurants, from that moment which has hooked up my appetite to have dining experience here, as well as I was amazed by a tour where to access an open-field swimming pool, fitness club and quite interesting introduction about this hotel and location from her, especially during the tour we rode bikes to one of the "wow" parks next to the hotel, that was sth i wasn't expected. Then she showed me one guests room with a mega view. At that moment, I decided to stay for a dining experience.
  In a nutshell, she's not just been friendly but extremely helpful to the further needs of my stay in HD, her hospitality was smooth not a tiny feeling of convincing. Even hooked me up of my next getaway trip in Sep. She kept me a good memory and a decent impression of this place, I will definitely come back for my September trip, not just only because of her service, she fulfils the guest's needs with the holiday desire.

  Hotel looks impressive from first minute, close to Golden Beach, 3 min by walk, a lot of entertainment inside and outside, great staff, great food, magic place. Big rooms and bathrooms. Nothing to complain.

• The only good hotel in this area

  I will start with the fact that there is no other choice in this area, this is the only international hotel in this area. This neighborhood is considered to be Qingdao, but in fact you have to pass a tunnel to get to Qingdao-City or to one of its train stations. As I had to be in this area, this was my only option.
  
  It is a beautiful hotel from its outside and inside. Rooms are on the large size, with nice design. Surrounding is beautiful especially if you get a sea view room.
  
  Room was clean, bed & quilt excellent, sleep quality great.
  
  Service was also good.
  
  Ninth floor club lounge is large and good.
  
  *** But there were some issues as well
  
  Air-condition wasn’t well functioning, especially at night, seems to be they shut down the compressor at night, while only fan is working.
  
  Water pressure was bad.
  
  Desk chair is nice, but not particle for work.
  
  Just a few of the staff know English (and they know quite well), while 90% do not speak English at all. This makes it somehow difficult.

  Very comfortable stay and great service from Venera. Central location to International Beer Festival. A place to relax after meetings. Highly recommended. Will work well for family trips too. Qingdao is great location

  Staying 1 night with group of 6.
  
  The lobby is spacious with nice decoration.
  The Stone columns are impressive.
  
  Having a drink at the lobby lounge is always a good experience.
  
  The rooms are neat and tidy with our own balconies. The views are really good.
