From the moment the young counter staff Mr. Song checked us in with a breeze, we were contented to find the room on 18th floor our ideal home in the next few days, followed by the well appointed facililities such as free wi-fi (automatic), coffee-making machine, washroom, bedding, tv, couch and everything else. After a comfortable sleep in the night, we enjoyed the buffet breakfast on 2nd floor Cafe serving quite a variety of tasty and thoughtful local and Western dishes in a spacious hall filled with non-stopped light music. When we headed out to tour around, we found the C Entrance of the Kaoxiang Road Metro Station was right next to the hotel compound, while bus stops were also nearby along the Hong Kong Middle Road in junction with Taiwan Road. To be fair, the hotel deserves to carry its name brand Regency in Hong Kong!

Staff was friendly and was always kind to my inquiring 7 year. If you are looking for a true 5 star hotel, this isn't your place. Yes, rooms are a little outdated, but after a long day of sightseeing, my family wants a clean, comfortable room with a good shower. Also, the restaurant in the basement serves good food.

Floor 20 is pretty nice. rooms are clean. beds are firm. breakfast buffet is good enough but nothing special. exercise room is usually empty but machines are in good shape. all in all good value for the money, but not much more than a clean room and a good sleep.

Rooms are so outdated and definitely not the 5 star rating it promotes. I had no water to the show or bath and when I complained this explained that it was because you had to turn a switch on. This was not case. Wet carpet soaked floor in the room hallway. Wouldn’t recommend staying here if you are considering and expecting a high quality hotel.

Room was clean and fine. Bed was perfect. Bathroom was top. No complain at all. Breakfast was perfect too. But do ask for non smoking floor because room looks better. Window view was good can both see coty and ocean because the hotel is triangle shaped.
Oh the toilet seat was kind of japanese high tech style with warmer and so on. Maybe because this hotel also serve many japanese guest as qingdao was one of the spot for japanese tourist and businessmen.
