Located a couple of blocks from beach, near the May 4th Monument- in the modern business district close to city hall.
Starbucks on 1st floor.
Rooms are like a studio apartment with huge flatscreen TV, wireless internet, washing machine.
AC is strong. Bed was comfortable. All around clean. A few missed spots in the bathroom near the shower where water leaks into the bathroom. Nice romantic 2 person dining table in room with desktop included.
Service is good. Easy to get around Qingdao by taxi most places- most attractions in old-town near the train station & historic buildings. Better to take bus- but beware the rush hour about 5:30PM-6:30PM- crowded buses and few cabs.
Great location for tour or romantic vacation.
Breakfast! Buffet is better than many 5 star hotels in China or $200/night Hong Kong hotels. Very friendly, staff remembered the omelet I ordered on my 2nd morning to the breakfast.

The deco is very special. Service is polite.
It is located opp to the city hall of Qingdao and the famous May-4th Square. Nice in the evening time with beautiful lights. Shopping centre, restraunts and trafic is near.

This hotel with a great location and view from the window.Take taxi from Train station is around 20 Yuan. Walking distance to shopping and food shops area! This hotel is super clean. Huge LCD TV and fast internet ensuite. Really enjoy my stay here.

We stayed at one of the hotel's family suite for 898/night,the hotel decoration is ok and it is in a very practical location you are few minutes walk to the famous 4th may square and various malls.
if you want to cook in your room you just need to ask the reception to provide some kitchenware.Tip for taxis.just go to Shangri-la in front and take a taxi there.

Stayed here for 3 days. View was nice. Room looked out over May 4th Square & ocean from 28th floor. Rooms have small dining table next to windows, couch, king size bed, flat panel TV, small kitchenette with small stove, refrigerator, & sink with filtered water. Bathroom had washing machine, glass enclosed shower with rain shower & handheld shower heads, sink, & toilet. Very little counter space, however. The shower had a small amount of mold, but nothing too offending. The bedroom/dining area has ample storage cabinets (including a clothing closet), as well as bookshelves. Would be a nice place to stay for a longer visit, but also a good deal for a short stay. Location is excellent - within a short walk of the shoreline & seaside walkway. Room included breakfast, which offered mainly a standard buffet style Chinese breakfast. Not a five star hotel, but better than most hotels for the money.
