A hotel with good location and big rooms. Good service and friendly staff, well equipped gym and pool and a good selection of restaurants. Also good selection during breakfast. Rooms are getting a bit wear down but are still fresh

I am staying in this hotel for the last 3 times. I visit qingdao often. This time i am little disappointed because of ihg services. There was a add outside cafe asia for a 15% discount for ihg members. When i asked them to give a discount of 15% as i am a ihg member the lady at the counter was unaware of it. I went to reception they gave another excuse it is not valid for ihg member. Its valid on credit card. I called ihg they say its valid. I told thembu am hoing to room please call me and let know. The same thing happened last time when i used in room dinning.
I smply dnt understand why ihg dont explain to hotel staff who about offers eho actually has to deal with these offers.

Good hotel (maybe a little dated) in a great location near water. At checkin I was given a nice upgrade to a larger room. Staff were very helpful with good English. Restaurant had a good lunch and breakfast was good also. Good value.
