  Since my last visit to Qingdao in 2009 it was a feeling of coming “home” again in the Shangri-La hotel.
  I was there on my birthday and they made sure it became an unforgettable one. The staff brought a very nice cake to the business club floor and they were even singing for me.
  
  The rooms were as comfortable and spacious as before. All equipment, necessary for a business traveller like myself, were there.
  
  As the weather was cold outside, it was no problem to dine inhouse. There is a variety of excellent restaurants under 1 roof.
  
  It was great to be back and felt very comfortable and relax after long travels and busy meetings, every day.
  
  During my check-out I received a photo taken during the celebration of my birthday. Once again: A great compliment to the hotel staff and hope to come back soon.

  The Shangri-La hotel is an excellent choice if you need to stay in Qingdao. Morden，clean，comfortable，and well appointed. Check in was friendly and efficient. I really want to thank Una. She is really nice. What surprised me was that she arranged for us to have a room can watch the sea. What surprised me even more was that she gave us a rose，which made me really happy. My husband and I had a wonderful night in here.

  The whole environment of the cafeteria is really good, and especially the view on 20th floor is just amazing!! Waitress Maria helps me a lot. She is very professional and makes me feel so warm. Especially the coffee she made for me is perfect!! I will definitely come back again in the future!
