  Stayed here a second time for one more night and still can’t think of a negative comment. I do have a comment about one of the staff members though. Yuki from the front office. My goodness, I’ve never had a hotel employee be so generous with their time to help me. She actually on her day off went to work and took photos of a room I wanted to see before I booked it. Then during her holiday she took the time again to make sure my stay went well. Pretty amazing hotel but the staff make the stay which is why I will keep staying here. Thanks Yuki.

  If you like China but struggle a little with the food choices this Hotel has the largest variety of food I have ever seen in one place. This buffet extends the length of the room. You can even get a decent coffee here.

• Good infrastructure but needs to pay attention to details

  The hotel is new and big with good infrastructure, e.g., lobby, restaurants, rooms setting etc. However the services have not yet catching up and do expect things don't work, e.g., plugs on the wall doesn't have power, refrigerator is not plugged in, washing machine and dryer emit strong odors, etc. The hotel is located in a new part of the town where many parts are yet to be developed. The nearest residential area where one can be get food and grocery is about 1-2 kms away and many restaurants may not be hygienic enough for some.

Besides the four restaurants of all-day dining, Chinese, Japanese and Thai styles, you can easily reach some offsite choices like Lee Garden, Din Tai Fung and Shanghai Spring within walking distance. • Very good serviced suites

  Recently spent a week at the Pan Pacific's serviced suites.
  Nice rooms, but you need to be specific regarding any living needs such as cooking in the rooms.
  
  As mentioned in an earlier post, the Pan Pacific suffers from a lax smoke free policy, which in my view is unacceptable, but unfortunately hard to police in China.
  
  The gym facilities are very good, with comprehensive resources, a 25m indoor pool, sauna, spa etc. very nicely done.

  Thanks for taking time to post this review about our Serviced Suites. We are happy to know you enjoyed your stay with us this December. As you many know, we have six types of serviced suites, area ranging from 34 to 102 square metres, including one or two-bed studios and one or two-bedroom suites. Sharing with the hotel, the recreational facilities are located at the ground floor of Serviced Suites including fitness centre, indoor swimming pool, table tennis, squash court and outdoor tennis court. Thereinto, the fitness centre is 24 hours accessible for in-house guests or long-term residents with room keycard.
