Oct 29, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessAs usual a very nice hotel with business meeting facilities as well as good restaurants. In special I found the Japanese Restaurant on 5th floor execellent. It's really worth a visit. Also the Chinese Restaurant at the same floor is above usual standard.

It’s my preferred hotel here as it’s got such a great mix of location (next to Wanda shopping centre which has some wonderful restaurants), Starbucks next door, fabulous Sofitel restaurant breakfast variety and quality, comfortable rooms ideal for a business traveller.
And the service at reception and the Concierge are just so quick to attend to your needs.
I’ll be back next month. -

boston | Sep 9, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessI arranged for the hotel car to pick me up at the airport but the driver never showed up with signage. Sadly they had done this to me 4 years ago as well. So un-Sofitel like. I am a platinum Accor member and love this Ningbo hotel for many reasons.
I gave the hotel a 5 for the great work that the concierge did in finding out why this happened and making sure that it would not happen for other guests. He graciously offered me a free hotel ride tomorrow to the train station. His effort was special.

-pro- very convinient, James from concierge very friendly ,everyone says hi to you when the see you, breakfast was fine. mix of chinese and western, love it. had some small dumpling which kinna new to me, main concern was language barrier, but not a problem at all, the manager Vick in the restaurant speaks perfect english which was very very helpful. was there breakfast and dinner as well.SofitelNingbo, Manager at Sofitel Ningbo, responded to this reviewDear Guest,

facilities in this hotel, when I go to the bathroom the water is leaking from the shower nozzle. But, overall I would like to recommend this hotel.
