• High tech rooms...took me a while to figure it all out

  Stayed here one night last week being in Nanning for business. I got a junior suite which was amazing with Jacuzzi and all the bells and whistles. As i said in my heading, it took me a while to figure out all the different options in the suite, including a pre-warmed electronic toilet.Breakfast was fine.....did not have dinner there so cannot make any comments on dinner food.....would have liked to stay a few more days...this room was without doubt the best i had in China !! Not cheap, but worth it.

  My business was at the neighbouring university, so the location was perfect for me. Though not many people spoke English, they were adept at realizing what I needed and providing it. The room was very comfortable with everything spotless and in good working order, internet included.
  The buffet restaurant is OK for breakfast with a wide choice, but the juices are not fresh, the toaster is incredibly slow, and the coffee is not good. I had dinner there one Sunday night and it was fine, with a wide range of choices and wine included. The lobby is a comfortable place to wait for others with plenty of seating. Though there is a fair amount of construction going on in the vicinity of the hotel, it did not cause me any inconvenience.
  All in all, I found this a very satisfying and convenient place to stay -and perfect for business at the University.

  We got a great deal for our stay at the hotel. The lobby is large and clean, and the desk staff are professional and very helpful. I had no problem getting someone who could speak English, even at midnight! The only criticism is the construction right outside the hotel (new subway). The rooms are large, very clean, and the beds are very comfortable and not brick hard as in some other hotels. Make sure you get the breakfast every morning. They serve coffee, and there is endless food choices. The hotel's location was perfect for me and on the bus line to the inner city. I will stay here again when in Nanning!

  The room was spacious with nice pillow and large size bed, especially for the twin bed room. The location is very close to shopping centers and this hotel have IMAX Theater. Only slightly in front of the hotel due to a MRT Construction. But overall, it was good and have a pleasant stay.

  The hotel is fairly new and the rooms are finished to a good standard, clean and comfortable. But... it lacks the services and language skills to be a successful Western hotel. I tried to order food from the room service menu, during the evening so fully staffed, but the person on the other end of the phone could not / did not speak. There was some discussion in the background, and then after what felt like a long time, someone else came on the phone and actually tried to communicate. This failed and a little later someone called back who could just about follow the menu. Again after a little repeating over again someone came to the room with a menu and we marked what I wanted. They have done this before, looking at all the existing scribble all over the menu.
  Next time I visit I'll be back to the Marriott
