  Nanjing is close to Shanghai which give us more opportunity to go and have fun in Sofitel Nanjing Zhongshan Golf Resort. Depart from railway station, you may need 30-40 mins drive. But you don;t need to worry about the traffic which is great cause you don't even need to pass the heart of city and can directly get to this hotel. When we went to play golf, we stayed in the old wing offering an excellent view. I love it. Room is ok.. Staffs are friend. I like Accor like alway. I like they smile and greeting with bonjour. I uploaded some picture so that you can have a brief information. Lake, Swan... beautiful! I saw people holding wedding celebration there. Amazing!
  Hope the house keeping get more training. I don't like hotel staff move my set up... not a big deal, just personal stint.

  Hotels in China can expect it to be grand. This is an understatement for this hotel! Hotel looks like a palace.
  Hotel is connected to the Zhongshan Golf and it offers room of the purple mountains or golf resort. Surrounded by lush greenery and the hotel offers a huge balcony for all room types. The executive rooms is 60m2 in size with very modern design. This room also comes with 20m2 balcony overlooking the golf course very good for entertaining! In general, all rooms are very spacious.
  Hotel is about 45mins from Nanjing Lukou hotel and located well away from the city. You will find this place very tranquil and relaxing!
  Hotel went through a major renovation about 1 year ago and is now opened for business with new and modern facilities to welcome you. Hotel offers a tennis court and children facilities.
  Very nice hotel and love this place!

• Train your staff properly!

  A hotel of this category should make sure that the previous guests have not left anything in the room when they left. We found an ice bucket (with a lid) full of rotten and awfully stinky fruit. A hotel of this category should not have a broken umbrella in the closet, nor a telephone plugged in incorrectly (so it seemed dead), nor a scale with a dead battery (we had to ask twice to get a solution to these problems).
  The staff only had limited knowledge of English and appeared very unprofessional. The staff at the gate should be aware that guests can walk in and out of the hotel compound on foot and not yell at them in Nanjing dialect like when we walked back, as if we were intruders!
  Other than that, its location is very pleasant with the hill across the road. Bread was excellent (felicitations au Boulanger).

• excellent relaxing place with very well maintain golf course

  This place is out of my expectation. the golf course is very well maintained and staff are knowledgeable, good for game improvers, if you are a single handicapper, this is a child play to you. The resort hotel is also at a reasonable quality and you won't regret. food is not bad and is of a large portion.

• A conference hotel that tries

  The hotel is located about 30 mins from train station and mostly used as a business hotel. The staff are kind and try their best. But the maintenance could do with some help.
  Views from the old wing is beautiful. 2nd floor is the club floor and it is worth to get those rooms. The new wing rooms are farther away but newer.
