Oct 2, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessI stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel for 4 weeks. My stay was a great pleasure. It's located in the New parts of Nanjing close to shopping malls, banks, metro line, etc.
The room (Superior Double) was very well appointed. Spacious, well ventilated and a comfortable place to be. The king size bed was more than adequate, the white sheets exemplifying cleanliness.
My room (1418) was on the 14th floor and offered a nice view of part of the city.
The hotel has a well equipped gym on the 5th floor and I could jog around the block with great ease too.
The bar (Wattts) is enchanting to say the least. The staff are very friendly and speak fluent English. The restaurant is spacious and offered generous portions particularly on "Italian Nights".
The concierge are among the best I've seen always available to assist and doing so efficiently.
The drawbacks. The laundry service was quite pricey (fortunately my sponsor was picking up the tab)
I highly recommend the Crowne Plaza if you're visiting Nanjing. -

20mnts walk to nearest Metro, a bit out of town. 45 minutes to Nanjing downtown if the traffic was good. -

Checkin was efficient and friendly. As I am a member of the bonus program they claimed that they would send up fruit to my room which never happened. I do not care as I did not really want the fruit. It would however been better never to mention it. Bed was comfortable enough and I had a good sleep.
Room was spacious and equipped inline with you expect from a decent business hotel.
Breakfast good with the expected selection. Checkout uneventful. -

Jul 22, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessSpent three weeks on a business trip. Comfortable, and neat rooms with good WiFi. The breakfast offered a wide range of western and chinese menus. However inhouse lunch and dinner options are limited except for the days that the bigger restaurant had it's popular buffet as the bar-cum restaurant had a limited menu.
Overall, a great home away from home. -

Doncaster, United Kingdom | Jul 2, 2025So nice I took other colleagues, we had the beef sliders the salt and pepper squid and both were delicious, great service and value for money, good for people watching too, several weddings and the general comings and goings, definitely worth stopping off if you are out and about, great friendly service the first time we visited, was not made to feel as valued the second time the staff seemed to be hiding away. We would visit again though in the hope it was a one off.
