  It started with an efficient check-in in the Limousine picking us up from the Qufu Train Station. The Shangri-la staff did whatever possible to make our stay unforgettable. The very knowledgeable Concierge proposed and organized Sightseeing in Qufu and the surrounding. The Chef was satisfying my special food requirements. The housekeeping was cleaning and perfectly repairing my clothes, heavily spoiled and damaged during an accident. Even being used to a good 5 star hotel service, what we experienced in the Qufu Shangri-la is hard to be topped.

  I stayed here for 1 night on business at this stunning hotel in Qufu. I arrived with colleagues late in the evening and check in was easy and efficient. The hotel has a very impressive lobby and entrance area, and many staff to assist with luggage.
  The room was faultless. I was in a king room on a high floor, and the room included the following features - Iron and ironing board (quite unusual for many Chinese hotels), a well stocked mini bar including spirits, wine, beer, soft drinks and snacks, free high speed WiFi (throughout the hotel), USB charging outlets, a good selection of toiletries. The layout of the hotel room was good and the bed was very comfortable.
  A breakfast buffet was included in my rate, which included both Western and Chinese options, which were of a high standard.
  All staff who I interacted with spoke reasonable English (which is very helpful when travelling as a foreigner in country China).
  Check out was easy. The reception staff member processed my card in Australian dollars (instead of RMB) with DCC (Dynamic currency conversion) when I had asked her to process it in RMB, but she quickly corrected this and re-did the transaction correctly in RMB without having to be prompted. It was very welcome that this was handled well, as in many Chinese hotels this leads to an argument.
  I really enjoyed my stay here and would happily stay here again when next travelling in the Qufu area. It was a true 5 star experience and the hotel should be proud of its standards.

  I have been at the Hotel attending a Conference. It is a very beautiful and modern building with warm Chinese modern decoration. The rooms are wide, with all you need, nice decoration and useful good quality amenities.
  It has good restaurants and a fantastic facilities for conferences.
  A plus is the professional and warm staff, soecially the concierge Chris Kong who help us with needs for travel with a great professionalism and kidness. Congratulations!!!!!

  Its an excellent property - its 5 stars and lives upto it. Across the road there is a shopping mall and supermarket too.
  Qufu is small so everything is very near and taxis are easy to find. Hotel calls you one with no problems.
  The check in/ rooms/ food/ breakfast all is top notch.
  the lobby is quite grand and gives a very luxurious feel. the carpets are heavy everything is very detailed and high quality.
  The staff is very helpful and polite.
  Mr. Kevin at the Cafe Kong was an exceptionally helpful person - we being muslims he helped us in our food and also guided us to visit the mosque in Qufu and local muslim resturants.

  This hotel just gets better. I stay here often and always look forward to my stay. Great staff and great facility. Will be even better when they open a Golden Circle Club (hopefully soon)! The new health club is very good.
