Hong Kong, China | May 11, 2025 | Trip type: FamilyThis is by FAR the biggest hotel I have ever visited. Unfortunately, the floor plans were extremely unclear; walking between one room and the other took a very inconvenient 10-15 minutes, while it took me 25 minutes to maneuver around the GIGANTIC hotel to find the swimming pool. Additionally, the location of the hotel is extremely poor, approximately an hour away from Huizhou's city center. Moreover, wi-fi is rather unstable and weak.
We had one club room alongside one club premier room. We would definitely prefer the lower-costing club double room, because the hot tub in the club premier room is actually outdoors, full of mosquitoes, and the extra space is occupied by the spa table. Otherwise, the rooms were very luxurious, spacious (like the hotel) and fitted with all amenities. -

Aug 15, 2025 | Trip type: CouplesWe had a short stay over in mind, but after we realised that the hotel is about to loose the fight against thee ever present humidity - we were very happy to leave ASAP. Luckily we called our agency, and they arranged with the front desk that the booking is canceled without additional costs or hustles. The scent of mould is ever present, especially in the rooms. Everywhere they are trying to repair the damage due to humidity, but it seems they are loosing the fight. Just take a look at the pictures...

Very Disappointed Stay

Feb 10, 2025 | Trip type: FamilyMy jaw dropped when I first entered to this Resort, it definitely does not match the standard of the 5 stars international brand at all. Very disappointing.
1) Poor directions with complex floor plan
There are 6 joint buildings and the lifts do not access to each level and you have to find the right lift to get to the floor you stay. There are very little directions signs and we always wasted a lot of time on finding the correct lift and we have to took the long way to walk from a building to another building. There were little maps and they were confusing to read.
2) Poor maintenance
The Resort is a very beautiful building! BUT it resembles me of an abandoned castle after a chaos. The paints are peeling off and water dropped from the ceiling on the corridor. Wasted constructions materials were just discarded around the corner without cover. The roofs are broken.
3) Poor in-room facilities
The room is poorly maintained. The cleaner did not fold the towels properly. The slippers were not brand new. The were stain on the water tap, and around the tank. The toilet seat is uncomfortable to sit on.
Good things about this hotel are that the surroundings of the hotel is very natural, but the garden is poorly maintained and the staffs are polite and friendly.
However, I would not recommend my friends and families to stay at this Resort. -

1) Indoor swimming pool: so dirty and so many bubbles floating on the surface of the pool. Don't know where the bubbles came from.
2) Outdoor swimming pool: so many leaves floating on the pool and no staff trying to clean it.
3) Poor hotel room/facilities direction: I stayed at Area 5, 7/F but the direction shows Area 4-6 is on 5/F- 7/F. I was so confused and lost but can't even find a staff to ask because no one was around. Also, it was difficult to find the swimming pools since no direction map shown in the lifts.
4) In-room facility/amenity: The wooden curtain used for separating the room and bathroom was broken. Also, one pair of towel slippers were tattered.
