I will be arriving earlier/later than the stated check-in time. Can I still check in?

Usually this is not a problem; you can arrange for an after-hours check-in with most hotels. However, you should always confirm with the hotel. You can use the "Special Requests" box in the booking process to inform them of your estimated arrival time in writing. It's important to remember that the property can't always accommodate these requests. It's always best to check with the property directly and in advance to avoid confusion. You can contact the hotel directly by calling them, the local telephone number you can get from Nehow's Local Guide after you finish the booking.

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

A late check-out can only be arranged with the hotel and usually depends on availability at the time of your stay. You can ask about the possibility at the front desk upon arrival.

  • Good, but in danger of becoming less international

The good, i really enjoy the location is in the hills around West Lake. The hotel is away from busy Hangzhou city, great for a leisure weekend. Nice hiking trails nearby, and i prefer the farmhouse food options to the city's poor commercial restaurants. Beautiful tea plantation surrounds the hotel, and rooms nicely decorated.
Unfortunately, cleanliness standards seem to be falling. The first two rooms allocated to me had an unbearable smoke smell. Hotel did not clean the air before passing to us. Hotel wiring is also a disappointment, as the building is unable to give guests an option of heating or A/C. Since Chinese guests tend to fear cold, the hotel shuts down the A/C system in the autumn. Any customers who feel hot or do not like humid air are in trouble, the hotel does not have any A/C in the autumn.

  • Quiet But Need Improve Service

Other than Nine Creek, you have no where to go after sunset, you found this lovely place if Quiet is what you looking for. Tea Definitely customer service need a lot improve, as far as I concern, it is below 5 star standard. Tea Garden smells soooooo fresh in the early morning, and I guess I paid such expensive for this natural feeling...

  • The standard of service dropped

We stayed Millennium in 2014 when it was still quite new. It was great experience so we decided to stay here again in June 2015. I was quite surprised that the standard of service has dropped So much. The hotel was managed by all new staff who are lack of training and knowledge of service. First bad experience was that I was not allowed check into hotel by using my passport. The policeman insisted that I have to use my Chinese citizen IC but I have been abroad for 17 years and it have never been a problem to me when I use my China Passport to check in any hotels in China when I am back. I have to call the hotline of government to clarify it. The result is I can use my passport to check in hotel! Unfortunatly the staff in hotel didn't even know the basic custom rules. The only staff in hotel will greet u are the cleaners from housekeeping . So sad, isn't it? The manager staff are so cold and never greet the guests. The standard of service is far from 5 star hotel. The staff here really need more training what is called service. The bathroom at swimming pool was dirty and nobody clean.
When we tried to load the luggage before we left the hotel, Nobody Helped us with luggage sand it was same situation when we arrived.
My husband was upset with overall experience as i was the one who strongly recommended this hotel based on my experience last year.
He was quite stunned when he greeted staff who drove our buggy, the guy didn't even give him a glance.
It is sad to see the standard of service has dropped so much within just one year.
    Regards
    Dawn Wang

  • Quiet place and good service

Shanghai, China | May 26, 2025 | Trip type: Family

Been there in April. Early spring stay there is fantastic. The hotel is enbeded in tea tree fields and April is just the time that tea farmers picking up the best tea tree leaves. We can just walk in the tea tree field and smell the morning scent.
Service is quite satisfactory. We live in north wing and shuttle mini-bus is right at your service to pick you to the main tower(swimming pool and restaurant). Waiters in the restaurant is so careful that everytime we walk in, the baby chair is already in place.
Room is spacious, especially for the balcony.
    Need to improve:
    1. Quality for slippers are hard to say good
    2. Children club is placed outdoor, therefore windy and dusty. And equipments are almost broken...Nearly nothing to play.
    3. Swimming pool is good that the baby pool is with higher temperature. However, the locker room's drainage system is poor. It is easily to get wet all around the ground.

  • Good atmosphere but average service

Shanghai, China | Apr 25, 2025 | Trip type: Couples

I was there last May, right after their opening. You definitely need a ride to get there not the public transportation.
The hotel it self is very nice, you see the tea leaf tree in the hotel and lots of trees, grass surounded which make you feel relax and quiet. Me and my girlfriend likes the room, clean spacious and sofa is comfortable. but the service needs definitely improve. I still remember the manager looking lady out of the breakfast restaurant, she was bit arrogant while looked at you. made me feel I was her staff not the customer. you can see some 40's guy/ladys in the hotel being as management but they don't really present like management at least not from international brand. they look like moved from some local local hotels. they are very arrogant and cold. those young guys/ladys at least they know how to smile and greet to you. anyway, I will not go there again.
