  A relaxing space with a good breakfast reasonable sized rooms and friendly staff albeit that English was a problem
  The area around the hotel is good to go walking there is a track up the nearby hills worth a walk
  Make sure you visit Westlake when in hangzhou

  We stay at this hotel regularly for business and it is very good for the price. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The football stadium is a five minute walk away and there are lots of small eateries around the stadium too, including a McDonald's and a Cha mate. There is also a Walmart over the top of the McDonalds. The Maya bar which is full of expats is also in walking distance. So overall I would recommend.

  A huge very busy hotel. The room was big, the bathroom as well. However, no blender for warm and cold water. Wifi free but the connection broke often. Breakfast room crowded with people. A large selection of food but I had to wait 10 min for a cappuccino.

  We chose this hotel because it was near the sports stadium, where you can get a bus to Shanghai Pudong airport, and we had a great experience.
  The room was a good size with all the amenities you would expect of a luxury hotel - and then some! Our room had a view of the mountains, even though we were in an urban area..
  I would be very happy to stay here again.

  This hotel doesn't have fanciful facade and interior can be bit old but overall is still excellent!
  Reception
  Was efficient and front desk personnel were helpful and polite.
  Concierge
  Absolutely wonderful.
  Booking of taxi and recommendation on tourist attractions were well given.
  Note : it is common to book taxi using Apps. Taxi drivers receive incentives. Flag down along road was a challenge as we were having hard time to return from outside! Be careful.
  Room
  Well equipped and they had pillow catalogue for selection. (Some other hotels allow too but normally they don't show picture and description).
  In-room safe was very small and I can't keep my 12" notebook.
  Free wifi.
  Breakfast
  Spread was amazing. Food quality ok (not exceptionally tasty).
  Health spa on 4th floor
  Must try!
  I'm not sure on price comparison in HZ but I had a good time. Spa is based on Chinese therapies and good for health. It was both relaxing and health benefiting. Ambience and therapists were wonderful.
  Leisure
  Didn't have much time.
  Close proximity to hotel. Around 10mins and RMB20.
  Went Hefang street (河坊街), Intime Department Store (银泰百货) and Westlake (西湖).
  I like Hefang street - touristry and locals do not like. They claimed items are lower quality and not genuine (esp silk and longjin tea). For me, it was just for fun and I enjoyed.
