• Great hotel for good price but Chinese not Western

  I have visited this hotel for the 3rd time. This is a typical 5 star Chinese hotel but staff is speaking well English. To rooms are large and clean. No remarks on that. On that point for sure good price/quality value. The breakfast is most Chinese but also good western food with choice of cheese. Did not use the restaurants. If you like western food, on the coffee bar on the corner of the street you have great steaks. Bit strange but for some reason they serve western food in coffee bar. Also tepanyaki restaurant close to hotel.

  rooms r really great: bed, tv, shower, bathtube, 2 sinks for both person, and on this good things about hotel stops.
  so never take food alacarte( menu) they cook very very slow, badly and too expensive, cheaper to take buffet option. cleaners come to your room to clean when they want, not looking on red sign do not disturb. 3 times in a raw., each day i put do not disturb and when i come back to room in couple hourse it was cleaned, but i didnt want anyone clean it because didnt put pesonal belongings in safe.
  i put each evening red sign not to bedisturbed but each morning those .... cleaners hit hardly in door and when i didnt open they opened and wake me up.
  so if u want just good room - this hotel is ok, but be prepared to bad service and attitude from housekeeping and dining.
  reception is good and careful.

  I was very much impressed of this hotel. It has the 4-5 star experience with a huge lobby with many searing options and very nice rooms. Service was up to par and the English level good. Internet was slower than standard. If you are planning to be in the area this is definitely a hotel I recommend.

• Stunning hotel

  On a recent business trip I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The welcome at check-in was efficient and in English. The room was large (Room 1520) with a lounge area off the bedroom. Well appointed throughout ( 2 large plasma TV's) and clean.
  Breakfast is buffet style and caters for all tastes (Western, Chinese, Japanese). Only issue I had was i noticed that Scrambled Eggs were on the room service menu but asking for them at the egg cooking station i was met with a blank stare and ended up with an omelette (not a bad second choice though).
  Outside was a contrast in vehicle types. The hotel has 2 Rolls Royce Phantoms and a Lamborghini Aventador flanking the entrance. As you walk out of the hotel you also see tiny electric bikes piled high with goods being sold or to be dumped / recycled on the same roads.
  The hotel appears to be in a bit of a business district with many banks in the street outside. Unfortunately time did not enable a visit to any shopping areas that are supposedly close by. Great hotel and great price for a 5 star hotel.

  Located in central part of Hangzhou....good location to reach out to all major attractions. The hotel is well managed with English speaking staff. The standard rooms are well appointed with comfortable bedding and bathrooms. The breakfast is covered on the basics tariff and has continental and Chinese spread.
  Travel to important landmarks like the west lake is easy with Metro within walking distance.
