Plus- Booked this hotel after reading reviews on Tripadvisor,my trusted app for all travel information.I was not dissapointed! Location was good,close to a busy shopping district. In fact we were pleasantly surprised that just a stone's throw away was a place where one could board a direct airline bus to Shanghai Pudong airport .
Check in was simple and breezy so full marks for that to the hotel.
Rooms were spacious and well equipped.The wifi was fast and they had a huge collection of english movies and TV serials to watch.
Fell in love with the breakfast spread.Beautiful view from 25th and 26th floors of the lake beyond!
Staff spoke good english and were helpful.Special mention,Chef Lee Bing Quing who not only went out of his way to make me a wholesome vegetarian breakfast dish but also helped me in chinese translation.
Minus-Only negative point was the narrow lane and crowded approach road to the hotel.Had to walk up to the hotel with luggage before the valet spotted us and took over.
Will definitely revisit if given a chance.

We had a nice and spacious twin room but required refurnishing, especiallly the bathroom. The beds were nice and comfy except for the head boards which were too small.
Breakfast hall was nicely decorated and comfortable. We did enjoy our breakfast which included a variety of hot and cold buffets.

The Hotel location is great walkable from Wulin Square Metro, West Lake and shopping malls. Offers spacious rooms and lot of choice for Breakfast. I had 2 weeks of stay and and overall experience was very Good in comparison to other hotels i stayed in my previous visit.

The hotel is very conveniently located at the Wulin Square and if you are looking for value added with comfort, this is a great hotel to be at. The West Lake area is 5-7 minutes via taxi, however, finding the taxi can be bit of an issue!! The hotel entrance is kind of hidden, and taxis do become commodity here. The Thai restaurant and the Italian restaurant at the top floor (with great views of the city) have good food! The gym is not what I look for when working out, but the indoor pool is pretty good!

The location is very good, downtown, lots of shopping options, can walk to West Lake if you know how and subway, airport transfer is close by. There is a major construction happening right in front, so this makes it hard to find and the outside looks dirty. The rooms are okay, quite large, all the usual facilities, free wifi/internet, good TV options. The service is what lets this hotel down, and get the feeling this is due to hotel management, as there is a lack of attention to detail. Despite always seeing a bell boy, we were not offered help with our bags, the reception staff did not smile once, either at check in or check out. The service at breakfast was much better, however, the food is not really up to international standards, but better than most local hotels. Didn't really see the housekeeping staff, but the rooms was always clean and tidy.
