Location is good with metro at doorstep, shopping, close to Linjiang industrial area if that is where you are heading for work. Taxis aplenty in the area.
Rooms are modern, clean and everything works. Free wifi speed was acceptable, but you do get logged out after a certain period and will need to re-login. Check-in/out is efficient with friendly staff. Indoor heated pool, gym, couple of restaurants and bar are useful.
Spacious breakfast area with wide spread to suit both local and western tastes.

Not bad at all with this hotel. it is located Xiaoshan District, but a bit distance to Hangzhou city and there is subway train station right beside this hotel and close to shopping area. We are here for a night and absolutely like it and we are on the way to Shanghai Airport the next morning. The room is wonderful and pretty specious, and comfortable too. Again the breakfast buffet is awesome as usual in Chinese hotels. Free WiFi and other amenities include sauna, and swimming pool. Overall, the service is good.

This hotel is located in Xiaoshan district, rather far from Hangzhou city proper. However, there is a city-bound subway station right next to it, so while remote it's not exactly inaccessible. But most people would probably choose it because they have business in Xiaoshan.
Overall quality of the place is excellent: well furbished, spacious room and friendly staff. Drawbacks include so-so breakfast, and common facilities such as sauna needs extra admission charge even for guests. Getting taxis can be a challenge, and we saw some guests stranded half an hour for that.

This hotel is spacious, comfortable, excellent breakfast. Good choice for business travelling, with a similar distance to the city and airport (both direction cost me appro. 100 Chinese RMB). The reception is friendly and make the guests feel welcomed. A 25-metre length swimming pool is a bonus, but they do require a swimming cap (you can buy it on the spot or a 15 minutes walk to a shopping centre to get all your swimming gear there). Free wifi.
Perhaps not the best choice if you are a tourist as it is difficult to find a taxi yet the metro line is still in progress.

We stay in New Century Ningbo, Shaoxing and Hangzhou. And there are a couple of New Century in Hangzhou and don't stay at the other one. This is definitely the choice of mine. Rooms are not as big as the one in Ningbo, as a matter of fact, this is probably the oldest one, with the most wear and tear. But I like them all. The buffet dinner isn't very good, but breakfast is OK. I love the view on 32nd floor. You can see far on a clear day/night, but unfortunately, it's never clear. I think Hangzhou has a seriously air pollution problem and that calls for another review. Anyways, I will come back again and again.
