  Pros / Good / +'s:
  - Hotel is very well known. Why this is important? Because when you take a taxi you better be staying in a hotel well known. Giving taxi driver address/name written in Chine card may not be enough. I had to go upper classes hotel for business, and taxi drivers had trouble finding them.
  -around hotel there are some ATMs, Subway and University campus: 3-4 minutes walk
  - Close to bar/nightclub area. I think there are 2-3 nightclub/bar area, and this one is about 10 minutes distance walk to one of them, there is Maya bar, and Coco Bonita club for example.
  - clean rooms

  Cons/ Negatives / -'s:
  - Very noisy, I thought first I came to a high school dormitory, room doors are open, people talking till 4-5 am
  - Restaurant has no English menu.
  - If you depend hotel staff to call a taxi, that is problematic unless you are going to airport or a far distance. Because taxis are really cheap, even in Hangzhou standards, they hardly stop.
  - Half of the time, when you call room service, they dont have anybody who can speak English.

  　华北饭店の代替で紹介されたホテルです。お詫びのしるしに华北饭店で予約したグレードのワンランク上のクラスということでしたが、期待が大きかったせいか、たいしたことは無かったです。
  しかしながら、ホテルや部屋は悪くなかったですが、朝食のバイキングはいささかレベル低かったです。

  玉泉饭店位置不错，靠近西湖，去植物园也很近的。房间还可以的，挺宽敞的，设备不是很新就是，服务还不错，很贴心。价格稍微贵了些。

  First of all, there seems to be some confusion. Not all the user photographs uploaded for this hotel are actually of this hotel- and I have to wonder if the reviews are of a different hotel, as well! That said, after reading the (few) English reviews of this hotel online, I was quite nervous about staying there, but it was booked for me so I didn't have much of a choice. I was prepared for the worst, and was pleasantly surprised. I would give the hotel 3.5-4 stars. It was clean, the rooms were lovely, the bathroom was beautiful (black granite, rain-style shower). We did bring our own instant coffee as the coffee packets they give you are mostly cream and sugar, but we used the in-room hot water pot and it worked beautifully. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of options- everything from the more western-style fresh fruit to fried rice and dumplings (note: breakfast is not included- you need to bring your "coupons" with you for meals). We also ate there twice for dinner at which time the selection was much greater- and you could order by looking at photographs of the food (helpful if you don't speak Chinese). The staff was friendly and helpful. One important point- you could quite easily hear any activity in the hallway. People were rarely in the hallway, but bring ear plugs if you want to be sure of getting a good night's sleep, but that would be my only complaint.

  I have stayed in this hotel for one night. The room was rather small with bathroom located actually in the room (no separation). The breakfast was included, but was delayed by 30 min. No buffet. Only instant coffee. While waiting in completely empty lobby bar was asked to leave because it was "consumption area". Not to mention, nobody speaks English.
