The living area is accessible at all time and as a dog lover, they have a beautiful welcoming golden retriever. The backyard of the hostel is very well maintained and beautifully landscaped, with wifi accessible throughout the compound. Well, there's also a small market right opposite the hostel

Trieste, Italy | Aug 13, 2025 | Trip type: FamilyPRO: first of all the price, very cheap; the rooms are very clean; the staff is friendly; a beautiful garden around the hostel. A very good typical chinese restaurant in front of the hostel.
CON: the rooms are very small, this is a problem if you travel with big trolley, you can't walk in your room; the location is quite good, near the lake, but you may have problems if you need a taxi: the staff is friendly but they must be more organized. -

The Dorm room have a private toilet/bathroom in each room. The bathroom and the room is very clean. The hot water run smooth, make you can sleep well after your trip. I really recomend this hostel.
A little bit hard to find at the first, so I suggest you for the first time arriving, you must use taxi. A little bit renovation may be very good. -
OMG...uber fiasco!

1. Absolute pain to reach, even though we speak Chinese, and we had the taxi driver call the hostel it took us 30mins to locate it even though we were in the west lake area.
2. The front desk could not locate my booking even though I showed him a printout.
3. We had to pay and book breakfast in advance but again the morning staff had no record.
4. We paid and booked airport transfer which was also a fiasco. Turns out we paid 120RMB for a Uber cab which costs only 60RMB. The hostel was making 100% profit on taxis. Anyway the taxi he called refused to take us as apparently the hostel canceled the payment. In short - the guy at the front desk was trying to make money but we went back and literally shouted to get it back.
5. Last but not the least - we spotted 2 scorpions merrily scooting the breakfast tables!!!!
Dont stay here if you are at West Lake.
