  Amazing rooms, spacious and has everything you need. The food was spectacular, I would recommend the Buffet to anyone. The General Manager was so helpful. Thanks for an amazing experience. West lakes is just up the road. I went for a bike ride early one morning through the local park, great way to see the city wake up.

  this is a bargain compared to other cities, of course, not necessarily comparing to other hotels in HZ which are generally at a lower price than other major cities. My room is like a service apartment with kitchen and living room, lot of room and quite clean, however, my toilet is always broken and need to call house service a lot.
  the only down side is that there is no subway station nearby.

  Stayed there for my first night in Hangzhou. Located in a small community nearby the downtown. Quite quiet. During my arrival, no bellboy come to assist my luggage. Thats fine as its not a hotel.
  Got upgraded to a higher category room. Fairly spacious. A little bit old though but clean enough. Its a service appartment so I did not use much of the items like washing machine and kitchen in the room.
  The room is separated into living room and bedroom. There are quite a lot of free movies in the TV system (quite new).
  A standard indoor swimming pool. The weird thing is one must wear their own swim cap for using the pool. The pool attendant told me that is the law in Hangzhou. If you dont have one, you may need to purchase one in the pool reception.
  Not bad, just not too impressive. Would be a good deal if one comes for business.

  My wife and I stayed at Oakwood service apartment in Hangzhou for 6 months. During this period the staff here were very responsive and helpful. The furniture was kept in good condition and kitchen utensils are comprehensive.
  While hardware of most residence at the same class are very similar, the people here makes the difference.

  I have extremely high standards for the service world. If you have ever been to China, you know that Chinese people don't know the first thing about customer service. I will not rant about that on here. As a foreigner, you could not ask for a better staff. The cleaning people are honest and even when I left multiple piles of cash lying around the room, and the safe open, nothing ever went missing. The management was extremely helpful in every aspect of my move to China and my life was made easier because of their readily availability to help. I used the residences as a temporary residence while I found an apartment to live, and found myself not wanting to leave. My budget, and the ready availability of inexpensive yet incredible apartments around Hangzhou, forced me to reconsider. I would recommend it to anyone staying for a short period of time, and if you have the budget to get a one bedroom or are willing to live in a studio I would recommend living here indefinitely. I never write reviews, but I feel it would be a disservice to others to not let them know of a fantastic experience in the otherwise inhospitable landscape known as China.
