Jakarta, Indonesia | Jun 18, 2025 | Trip type: FamilyDoes everything as expected. Check in is a breeze, no English spoken though. Getting around is easy, just flag down a taxi on the main street, you'll get one in 10 minutes. Only 10-15 minutes taxi ride to the city center (10-20元). Bank, pharmacy, mini-market and food stalls just beside the hotel. Chinese group tour also offered in the reception, for anyone keen on trying Chinese group tour. At only 20 bucks per room you get hotel room with all basic hotel amenities at hostel price. Jinjiang Inn is also a reputable low-cost business hotel in China, so you shouldn't need to worry about hygiene and service. They also looked after our baggage during our overnight visit to Yangshuo, so I'm satisfied with this bargain. Breakfast also available for affordable price, though only has limited choices. Hotel staff can also arrange transport for you when asked.
It was a low-key standard no frills hotel, will suit any traveler/tourist that's not picky and has passable command of Chinese. -

Pinch room card to use the lift. Room was clean, carpet smell-free (trust me many hotels have stinky carpets...eww...)
Free wifi in room.
Bus stops are within 2-minute walk. Bus No.32, 6, 23, 14. 14 can get you to downtown of the city. -
