• A nice hotel in an excellent location...

  We stayed at this hotel for two nights (4-5 May) as part of a tour of China organised through Saga. Our room was comfortable and certainly adequate for our needs in terms of space and storage - the free wi-fi was fast enough for light browsing and emails - and, importantly, we enjoyed two good night’s sleep. Two complimentary bottle of water were provided each day along with the makings for a range of hot beverages. Toiletries/ towels were provided in the en-suite.
  This hotel is very well placed for the Guilin Waterways - being just across the road from the lakeside footpath - and we enjoyed a nice afternoon stroll around the park area and the shopping/ market which is adjacent to the hotel/ main square.
  The hotel also has a little secret - at night it turns into a waterfall (I guess the clue is in the name) - and we enjoyed watching the show, which features water cascading down one of the hotel faces to musical backing. The second evening we watched the show from within our room, which was one of those behind the waterfall - a surreal (but quiet) experience. The waterfall is certainly a unique and pleasing feature.
  We used the hotel restaurant for breakfasts and we found the choice and quality of the food on offer to be absolutely fine.
  All the staff we met were friendly and helpful and - despite this only being a short visit - we really enjoyed our time at this hotel.

  Located right by the main square where walking street and the Lake with the beautiful pagodas. Nice room with slippers, robe, etc. Excellent American and Chinese buffet including the famous Guilin noodles. Large pool and 3 jacuzzis (one lukewarm, one burning hot, one cold) Make sure you bring a swim cap from home or you will need to buy one for $10 RMBs.

  Stayed at this hotel. Positives: Very nice public area. Room was clean; but not a 5* caliber room. Amenities lacking in room. Great location. Nice waterfall in evening. Negatves: Restaurants are not located in good location. Very few customers. Prices were very high for not very special meals.
  
  A hotel worth seeing for its public area. Was not good value for staying there.

  This is a classy Hotel set in a great location . The hotel is large & comfortable with both Asia & Western Food . The rooms are a good size and maintained well. The hotel is located next to a long mall which really comes alive of a night time for food and tourist things. If you walk to the end of the mall across the road there is a brand new above & below ground shopping complex . At the back of the hotel is an underground market complex. Why it is called the waterfall hotel is that at 8.30 each night the whole back of the hotel turns into a waterfall 73m wide & 46 m high with many people gathering to watch. At the front of the hotel is the rivers and lakes with large sidewalks where people dance for exercise. Riverboats can be caught on the river. Such a great location. Large swimming pool ,sauna ,spa baths ,oxygen spas etc.

  Stunning view, facilities and comfortable room. Also, in this hotel you are just a few minutes walk from the most important places in Guillin. If you are too tired of walking around, you can relxat the spa or at the swimming pool. They have a restaurant and bar, even though you are probably going to go out to have dinner or else.
