Aug 2, 2025 | Trip type: FamilyWe had the best stay at The Moondance Hotel, Jason at the reception went out of his way to get our sons teddy back, that he forgot in Guillin at a hotel, he also were helpful arranging trips to catch the local scenic spots.
The hotel is clean, quiet and modern. The staff speaks english. Free bikes, fast wifi, laundry, breakfast buffet included. Highly recamentable.

Very friendly and helpfull staff. Good breakfast and delicious food. Nice terras to have dinner. Free bikes and possibility to wash your clothes for free. TOP !

Amazing hotel in a truly amazing location

Jul 17, 2025 | Trip type: FamilyOur family of 5 spent 4 nights at the Moondance in late June, and it was the highlight of our 2 week long trip to Asia. The hotel's location is truly magical, perhaps one of the most beautiful views I've ever seen anywhere. While the hotel is modest in many ways, the service, the overall rooms, the cleanliness of the facilities and the food were all surprisingly great.

The food was delicious and consistent. I would recommend this hotel to everyone traveling to beautiful Yangshou. Great location. Free bikes. Swimming pool. Lovely rooms.
