  Неплохой отель с бассейном за дополнительную плату. Есть ресторан. Отель оформлен в современном стиле. Номера просторные и светлые. Чисто. Рядом с отелем ухоженный парк. До метро далековато – пешком 25-30 минут. Ужасный интернет. Никто в отеле не говорит по-английски, это создавало трудности.

  Located beside the Guangdong University. Easy access to lecture rooms and a variety of restaurants that dazzles our taste on chinese cuisine. I never to miss drink on the street is the dragon fruit drinks. So refreshing taste. The rooms are comfortable and room service is excellent. Even though that English is a bit of challenge to the hotel staff but they ensure That your comfort is paramount. Breakfast is included and buffet setting with soups vegetables meats and vegetables done in a way that really satisfy our morning appetite.

• Ok Hotel, but No Night Market Around

  Our tour group stayed for 1 night here. Not bad. The lobby is rather dim and old, yet the room is spacious, tidy, clean, enough lighting. The bathroom is especially good, shower strong and the floor inside the shower cubicle is clean, unlike many other hotels where mould is common. Tooth brush, paste and slippers were provided but I used my own to save the earth. The towels are very old and poor, you'd better bring your own. There is kettle. Free wifi works well.
  A bit disappointing for breakfast.
  It needs 15 mins' ride to the place with many night food stalls. Only a pizza restaurant in the opposite.

  Medium-sized hotel, functioning partly as accommodation for students of the nearby university, mainly foreigners. Clean.
  Located 5 minutes' walk away from the West? gate of GDUFS university, 20 minutes' walk away from Jiangxia underground station (trains stop running around 23:30), a bit over an hour away from Guangzhou East Railway Station (walking + subway). Located in a relatively green district, not far from Bayun mountain. A few small stores remain open at night in the vicinity.
  The staff speak some English, and have agreed to keep some things I have left behind so that my friend could pick them up. Room cleaning daily upon request.
  You can give the Chinese breakfast a miss.
  Some floors are used by university students, others by guests. The guest room is fairly big, with a big bathroom including a shower cabin and a mini sauna (though I haven't checked whether it works). Has all the regular amenities containing a mini fridge, safebox, TV set, WiFi, electric kettle. No ceiling light in the room.

• Comfortable but a bit shabby

  I stayed here for four days for a visit to Guangdong University for Foreign Studies. It is a five minute walk to the campus, so very convenient. The beds are typical Chinese beds, rather hard for Western tastes. Furnishings are a bit dated and worn, but comfortable. Both the room and the bathroom are large, but the bathroom has a bit of mildew in the grouting and could use an update. There is a Western style cafe for snacks, which was okay, but the main restaurant is excellent for good Cantonese food. In room is a kettle, but be sure to use bottled water for making coffee and tea.
  Hotel staff speak minimal English. Also, the rates on their website are ridiculously expensive. I asked China Travel Service to call for me, and even though they do not have a contract with the hotel, the rate they got me was one third the rate quoted on the Poly's own website. I would not recommend it at the website price at all, but at the discounted price of about 50 US, it was acceptable.
