  We booked 3 rooms at this hotel. The price was worth the money. Good location. But you need to go down early for breakfast otherwise, you will get nothing to eat because they will not replace any empty food's tray.

  it was a nice choice .
  at the beginning i thought it was going to be a night mare .
  i think because of the long trip to Guangzhou but the next day after a long bed sleep the hotel was just fine .
  we saved some money by choosing the 3 beds room .
  the beds size were perfect comparing with other hotels i tried before clean covers every day .
  the towels were clean and changed daily but old and smashed .
  the staff were 100% Chinese not even one english word .
  all the staff were so kind except one girl on the night shift she was so rude .
  one night we came back late she was sleeping behind or actually on the front desk and when i asked her to operate the elevator for me cause i don't have the she start screening and saying leave me alone i am sleeping !!!!!!!!! .
  by ht sway while we where there during april 2014 they changed all the Air conditions in the rooms with brand new ones .
  as what i said after all it was a very goof choice it is near everything , all markets are a walk distance from this hotel .
  hope you like it .
  too much mosquitoes the will eat you alive .
  ask for the device at the front desk .

  Weakness :
  1. The Wi-fi is so weak until as if it's non-existence.
  2. We saw mouse twice - once at aisle, the mouse can move underneath the door; once at kitchen during breakfast.
  3. The hotel staff not friendly and not helpful.
  4. Outside hotel, we can't find any visible food or stores. That night we were starving and very thirsty! Terrible experience.
  5. While Guangzhou station is visible, we can't cross the huge and busy road. We actually need to cross two overhead bridges to reach there! It is terrible as it is not well posted. We spend a lot of time loss there despite having GPS assistance. And the hotel staff never told us how to actually get to metro station. The entrance/Exit to Metro from hotel is D4. We asked the people at Metro, they also have no idea how to get to hotel location. Terrible location despite its great location. Another station Yuexiu Station is too far to walk
  Strength:
  1. Nice breakfast - 包(pau), 馒头 (mantou), buns, pasta, porridge, vegetables were good. This is the factor which made me decided not to rate the hotel as 1 star (Terrible)
  2. Room, clean and comfortable. Hope the mouse sighting is just an one off incidence.

  The Art hotel is in a fine location. It's close to the e subway, the central bus station and the central train station.
  The hotel has become a local's hotel meaning that at the Canton Fair time we were the only non-Chinese in the hotel.
  None of the stuff new a decent English nor had any of them tried to communicate with us in English at all.
  The room wasn't clean and the only good thing I have to say about it is that the Cockroaches weren't very big.
  While the breakfast was modest and yet local and cozy the dinner was a complete disaster. Food was Inedible and the rats wandering inside and outside the hotel killed and chance for normal meal.

  I didnt expect much before check in. The price for the location is very cheap. Good for budget stay.
  I stayed in the hotel for 5 days. A nice chinese restaurant and 7 /11 near entrance. Guangzhou Bus stand and railway station just 5 minutes away.( just 2 over bridge).
  Leather product, watch, shoe, clothin markets in just a km radius.
