  We have stayed at this hotel on 2 occasions in the last 6 months. Despite a mix up in reservation status, the front end staff upgraded us to two suites which were much nicer and bigger than the standard rooms. Great variety of fresh food at complimentary breakfast bar.
  The G5 mall, which is right across the street, features a Costa Coffee and Starbucks for those needing high injection caffeine, downfall is these stores don't open until 9 am. Many restaurant choices in the mall, definitely not typical mall food.
  The outside area of this mall is being developed rapidly and there will be more restaurant/casual bar facilities opening in the next few months.
  There is a wonderful grocery store in this mall for those wanting to take out deli food - good selection of Western and Chinese take-away cuisine.

  I stayed a few days in the hotel for the second time. At the front desk people are very cold and short. The rooms are very standard. The Wi-Fi in the whole hotel is awful as usual.. Simply very bad! The breakfast for the international kitchen is very limited. However it is brighter for the Chinese kitchen.

• Excellent accommodation close to convention centre

  I highly recommend this place for people attending conventions or conferences at Guangzhou convention centre. It is very close and a taxi charge less than Rs. 200 (20 yuan). There is a big outlet mall just opposite to the hotel and worth shopping. The restaurant is excellent with great food. The complimentary breakfast is mind blowing and I am sure everyone will enjoy the spread given in the early morning. The staff are very disciplined and the wifi connectivity is also too good. I high recommend this hotel for business and family travellers to Guangzhou.

  This simple hotel is located near the Baiyun mountains with convenient access to the Baiyun convention centre. Few of the staff speak English and are very helpful with maps, directions, calling cabs etc. Cannot beat the hotel for location. Bang opposite the G5 mall makes access to the supermarket and several eateries an easy one. The mall however is fairly sparsely populated being on the outskirts of the city and upscale. The large square in front of the mall is filled with families and dance groups and makes for good entertainment. Rooms are well appointed with standard inclusions for the business traveller. There was very little closet space in the room with no drawers or shelves. The breakfast buffet had a good mix of local food and western fare. There didn’t appear to be any dinner options for a vegetarian. The mall had several places where one could find something. The wifi was terrible. It seemed to have a mind of its own. It worked in fits and starts and was better in the lobby. Overall a good choice if you are on a budget.

  I stayed here to attend a conference at Baiyun International Conference Centre. The hotel is reasonably priced. It is just beside a shopping mall. So, one can go shopping when bored or if you have some free time. There are some restaurants in the shopping mall where you can find food. AEON supermarket is there, too.
  It may be a little far by walking (if one is not used to walking) if there is no shuttle bus provided by the conference organiser.
