  A luxurious hotel very convenient for the Canton Fair. On the whole gracious friendly staff who make you feel special. Great Chinese restaurant. Slightly out of central Guangzhou but free shuttle service into town

• Wonderful stay!

  I stayed with my husband at the Langham Place Guangzhou for 4 nights and we really enjoy it.
  We always travel a lot and this place was like home, we felt very welcome, all the staff was very kind and all the time they made sure we had a nice stay.
  Congratulations to the housekeeping, the room and the other areas of the hotel were always very clean, I have asthma and I don’t felt any dust around.
  The room was spacious and had all this little details that make your stay very comfy.
  The indoor swimming pool is huge, and the gym had all we need. I also enjoyed the saunas and jacuzzi.
  The food at the restaurant was very good, our special thanks to Rubi, she is awesome was always making sure that we had all we needed and more. Our thanks also to Tom.
  For all the Spa ladies, Summer, Jenny, Hebe, and the others, thanks for the wonderful massage.
  The concierges where also helpful booking us a car for a very reasonable price.
  
  Definitely would stay here again, I hope I can come back soon!

• Great Location

  I found this hotel to be very conveniently located for my stay, it is close to the exhibition halls and also short taxi ride to the city. Staff are great and helpful, the business facilities met my needs. But then all I really needed was good internet connection. Room was comfortable and good value I felt, the atrium space though large didn't allow to much noise to transfer into the rooms. World Cup quarter final was on so plenty of shouting and cheering, but low enough level within room once you close the door. Overall I am pleased with the place for my 2 night visit.

• Falls short

  Stunning looking building from the outside but not reflected inside. Room was excellent. Ate at Ming Court and the Italian restaurant. Ming court was disappointing. Read the reviews and was looking forward to it. I am in China 7-10 days a month and eat many regional cuisines but this didn’t cut it. The Pizza at the Italian was so bland I had to ask for pepper and Chilli to give it flavour. Paid for Club floor. Club lounge was good in terms of service and ambience although again the food was sub par. Final nail for me was a disagreement at check out. I’d made a mistake with my dates and stayed for 4 nights instead of six and they insisted on charging me for the other two. My error, but no compromise offered, I ended up having to pay full (expensive) rack rate for the 4 nights as they wouldn’t honour the rate I had. Bye bye Langham, it was an expensive test, hello again Shangri la Guangzhou.

• Wonderful Outdoor Terrace

  Great please to chill-out and relax. Nice music and a good selections of Beers. You can also order one of the best Pizzas in town from their Italian restaurant which has a wood fire pizza oven. Nice place to hang out after a long day at the exebiton centre.
