Queensland, Australia | Oct 29, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessFriendly staff, our room was cleaned daily and in the hotel complex there is a restaurant and food Chinese cuisine only & they can cook fresh seafood in front of you.
Guangzhou city is about 7 to 8 kms, no public transport or shopping centre nearby. -

The hotel was quite clean, staff were friendly, and the room was large. We slept 3 ppl our room and it's comfortable. Nice view though the location wasn't convenient . We went while the hotelex was available so there's a bus for us in our way to the train station and return to the hotel by taxi.

Some mold on the walls. If you are taking the train or metro then it is for sure not a choice. After arriving at the Kechun Meteo station you have to take bus 270 for almost 30 minutes to the hotel. You must be able to speak Chinese to pull that off. I went to the Canton Fair. I stayed there because they had a shuttle, however it only runs at 8:30 and 9:00 AM and then returns at 6:00 PM. So no way to get back to the hotel mid day without taking over an hour on the Meteo and busses.
The breakfast is a Chinese breakfast with fried eggs and white toast and half cooked bacon. Not worth the money. -

Nice place for Canton Fair

Stayed here for the Canton Fair and it is pretty close so it doesn't take long. They have van that drives you to and from the event. Lobby and hallways are nothing special but the rooms themselves are fine, clean, something i would compare to a Super 8 to maybe a Hampton inn. We went to two of the events at Canton so we stayed here the first time and at another place in town the 2nd. The other hotel was $70 a night more, further away from the fair, and not all that much nicer of a room. This place is utilitarian. Good place to eat attached to the hotel with lots of locals. It is about a $5 USD ride into town by taxi which we did a couple of nights. Not much to do around the area of this place so if you are looking for nightlife I don't recommend it unless you take a taxi into town. We paid $50/night per room.

Within five-minute drives of this Guangzhou hotel are Pazhou Convention and Exhibition Center, Yingzhou Ecological Park and Asian Games venues.
