• A business trip made better by a nice aparthotel

  Stayed for 3 weeks in a one bedroom executive apartment and it was good. Was always clean and aired out every day. The room itself was more than sufficient with a small kitchen with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker and toaster. It also had a washer/dryer as well so you could do your own "smalls" instead of paying a fortune for someone else to do them.
  Breakfasts were great. A good mix of Chinese, other Asian and Western foods to meet everyones needs.
  Staff were helpful and competent and would do anything for you.
  Plenty for the kids to do as well. The swimming pool and the kids fun zone are available and there is a mini golf putt course on the roof, but could not get the clubs from the hotel so you have to provide your own.
  Great location to numerous eating options. From Western style American and European restuarants to local restuarants. You will not be stuck for finding somewhere different to eat every night.

  Hello everyone!!! This is the best hotel which I ever stayed in GZ!!! All hotel is very friendly, very clean (what is aw
  esome), super super super.... Location is super great. Centrum of business world, few steps and we are in metro and supermarket of food and mall :))
  Food is very easy to buy, near by Pizza and bread shop. To fair by metro is just 5 stops very comfortable. Near Starbucks and 10 min by taxi all bars and restaurant of GZ - famous street. Amazing park across the road. Rooms just SUPER!!! Shampoo who know Loccitane surely will very surprised to see it there :))) Wonderful!!! Kitchen fully equipped, all is new and WIFI is rich! Breakfast can be more EU but surely you can find what to eat. Exist swim pool - not so huge but clean and nice warm water. I hope this hotel will be in same conditions after time and surely next year plz wait me to stay in :))) Also would be great that regular customers can get some good discounts! Choose this hotel and you will surely satisfied. Thanks a lot for stuff!!!

  The Apartment Hotel is great design and have a nice bathup with the view of Canton Tower. Near Museum of Guangdong, Asian Olympic games Park also you can runningalong the river side and you can shop along the way through the walk side and It's so amazing. Everything is great two thumps up.

• A right choice

  Here for the Annual Canton Fair. I rate hotels/service apartments based on a few conditions: mainly location, service and maintenance - esp housekeeping. And we know the star ratings is not accurate when it comes to China.
  Even tho in the business district, the green belt (park) provides a good breathing space in busy GZ. Sort of like a Central Park NY, with world class buildings like the GZ Library, Museum, Opera House and the Canton Tower. There is a departmental store just next to the service apartment; a mall that offers the basic shopping including UNIQLO, H&M and AEON Supermart and some restaurants.
  2 to 3 train stations away from the main shopping district and close to Canton Fair venue, but shutter service is provided anyway. try taking the APM metro line to get to the main TianHe shopping district when Metro Line 3 gets too crowded with office crowd. You will see a huge difference.
  Good Wifi, very very very important for business travellers. House keeping is very satisfying, it's always clean and proper when we returned and everything is replenished. L'Occitane is used as their in house toiletries, slippers are of better quality but bathrobe could be better. Try to make use of the gym, indoor pool and it's outdoor garden on the 6th floor.
  Front desk could also improve as not all staffs are properly trained. Also, for the price I'm paying, breakfast is only for 1 person a day when 2 people are staying in. I dun see the logic of that, even if the breakfast is not of the best level.
  I will choose to stay here again for my next trip provided that the rates doesn't escalate too much in the near future.

• Superb apartments in the heart of Guangzhou

  I recently spent two nights at the Ascott IFC whilst travelling on business. Whilst not a hotel in the traditional sense, the apartments offer everything that a hotel does and more. After a late arrival, I was informed on arrival that I had been upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment. The apartment was superb- a really family home. I was particularly impressed by the kitchen, which was fully equipped. The 3 bedrooms, were ample in size with the master suite encompassing a walk in wardrobe and bathroom with a full sized bath and separate shower. Whilst only on the 7th floor, I still had a great view of the IFC and the Canton Tower.
  Breakfast was served on the 6th floor and whilst not the biggest selection of food, there was enough to appeal to most tastes.
  Location wise, the hotel is right next to the IFC and in turn Zhujiang New Town subway stop making it convenient to get around Guangzhou.
  I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend to others.
