Really great place to stay for 1 week traveler

I used to go to Guangzhou in every month and stay for one week. This is one of best hotels. Location is convient for minutes walk to subway station and many shopping spots and varaety of restraunts are within working distance. Room is clean and confortable as well as Washer&Dryer with powder detaegent and cookwares, dishes, glasses, wash detargent and everything are in-room. Bath room amenity is L'OCCITANE shampoo, conditioner, body soap, body cleam. Breakfast is not bad, so I like that. Outside pool is good for relaxing, but GYM is minimum.
Amazing is Elevetor. In usual, put room key card then push foor button to go, but this hotel is just put room key card, then go up.
Check-in and check-out are also quick and all of peoples are very kind. They speaks Chinese, English and Japanese.

Ascott in Guangzhou is very well located. Rooms are very comfortable. Service is food. However quality of breakfast is very basic and can be improved substantially. Also for a 2 b/r appartment ( wherein 4 persons can sleep ) they provide breakfast for 2 persons only. For the balance 2 persons ned to pay for the breakfast - which is quite funny..

I started frequent business travels to China since 1999 and had stayed in many hotels, both international and local. Till date, Ascott Guangzhou is the best I had experienced!
LO - for Location. You will find an oasis of calm and homely feeling in the bustling Tianhe district in Guangzhou. Just take the lift to the basement and you will find one of the best "Tea Restaurant 茶餐厅" which offers Cantonese and Hong Kong style food with great value. Next to the hotel is the Taikoo Mall, with everything you will ever need, and more. The property is also a short pleasant walk away to the subway station.
V - for Value. The ambience, the amenities, the fittings, the room, the size, and the awesome breakfast all spelled VALUE for the price you will pay. I cannot find any other hotels which can and will offer a better value than this property.
E - for EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE. Yes, there is such thing as superb service in hotel in China, which you can find in Ascott Guangzhou. Everyone from the front desk, the concierge, the wait staffs at the restaurant, the reception telephone operators to the chamber maids were superlative in their friendly, helpful and professional service. Special mention goes out to the front desk crews who made my stay truly a memorable one.
There you have it, this property means LOVE for weary travelers like myself and many others hoping to get a good night rest after a hard day's work. Instead, I got to feel at home, which is awesome and rare in China hospitality landscape. Thanks so much!

This place is marvellous. Spacious, clean and with all amenities in the room, it made us very comfortable and happy. Services all around are excellent. We were very impressed at the attention we were given each time we needed advise on visits to interesting places. We were particularly impressed by front office staff Mr. Louis XU who attended us so well and happily. Location is very good, close to shopping malls and eateries. Go there, it's worth your money ! Nice people.

They have an excellent location just opposite Taikoohui and very near to other Tianhe malls which you can get everything.It's not very business oriented. The wifi is very slow though it's free.The breakfast is alright, like their porridge.
If you are there for a family vacations, this is a perfect place to stay.
