  It is just a place to stay. Not as bad a some 3star but not as good as a 4 star either.
  ok rooms, some have windows but many do not.
  Bargain on price, a local gets a much cheaper price.
  I traveled with my family.
  Staff tried to be helpful. Breakfast is Chinese.
  There is McDonalds and a nice Mall a short walk away.
  I would stay again.

  The hotel is quite new, finished to a high standard. During Canton Fair there is free transfer each day to the exhibition halls. Food is regular Chinese which I do not like personally. Could always find something 'eatable' though, so okay from me. If you can't stand that food you can order McDonald's by phone and they will bring it to you within half an hour (McDonald's staff speak English). Reception staff quite helpful, but their English could be improved. You can hear your neighbours in the room as there is a gap between wall and the windows - can be annoying (depends on neighbours).

  I had to stay in this area and this hotel was booked by our business associate. The room rate is around RMB 300 per night including tax and breakfast. With this money it is possible to find much better hotels than Libo.
  Room is dark and mine did have no window! Room had only a small window with access to corridor (that is where guests walk). This window can not be locked, so it is possible to break in to room through this window. Bed was ok. Bathroom acceptable.
  Hotel was not that full during my stay, but room has bad isolation so other sounds did disturb my sleep. Breakfast was not good. I only had some noodles and cooked eggs as breakfast. Juices and coffee were bad.
  I would not recommend this hotel to any frequent traveller. Luckily I stayed here only 1 night. Also they can't speak any English.

• New average business hotel in Panyu area which can be avoided

  Its a relatively new hotel ... poorly maintained. The carpet outside the bathroom was soaking wet and they refused to help change the room. Most rooms have no windows but they claim it to be a 4 star hotel so please do NOT fall for that. Room size and amenities are ok. If just a business stay, maybe ok but there are better options available not far from here. Asked for a taxi to the airport and they charged 300 RMB one way. From the Panyu hotel near by - hardly 100 meters away, there is an airport bus available for less than 50 Yuan. Location is on main road but the entrance is so small, its very hard to locate for any taxi driver as well.
  To be avoided I presume but then everyone may have their own views....

• Poor management services

  My husband fell and broke his tibia (required surgery) in this hotel poorly designed bathroom. At the time of this accident, We called front desk and requested an ambulance to the nearest hospital but was denied because this hotel did not wish to be hooked by the cost but also did not ask us whether we would be paying for the ambulance. After waiting more than 10 minutes (he was in excruciating pain) and did not see the ambulance did we inquired again with the housekeepers who kept peeking into our room, then, when we said that we would be paying for the ambulance, it did arrived! The hospital is a 3 minute drive away at 4:30 in the morning hours.
  After all these commotion was over, I had a chance to talk to the front office manager about the poor bathroom design and his staffs about the calls for ambulance that day, suggested that the hotel should compensate us in some ways since we have stayed that for a month. After consulting with his boss, he told us that since this accident is my husbald's fault that he fell and broke his leg and this has nothing to do with the hotel. We ended up staying 2 extra nights while we make arrangement to fly back home because we did not want to move him around too much.
  This is one hotel that customer service sucks!
