  Excellent service at the lounge from the check in day till the check out day, specially the executive lounge manager by the name of Martha Ramirez very professional, friendly, nice, warm solved all our little problems as we had in our room, she took care of all our little and big requests to our most satisfaction. Alan Gu lounge agent is very friendly very attentive as he served us for all our requests as a perfect gentleman. Last but not least the chef Stephen which accommodated is with a delicious vegetarian dinner that from all our visits in this hotel this was the best, tasty delicious experience and great variety of food as salads and desserts. I just had the best experience ever with this team, hope you will keep them forever!!!! That’s why we always come back to the Westin. Thank you.

  having a part as a overseas buyer, there’s no more place to stay better than this hotel, with the grand design building, it comes with comfort stay in sleep

  The keys in the hotel are a nightmare. They never work for room or elevator. Technology is old. You have to keep getting new keys made and stand in line. Others are getting new keys too. It is a joke. Showers leaking. Hotel needs some modernization for the rates they are charging.

• Service level has taken a dive the last few years

  Westin Pazhou used to be the best hotel around. I enjoyed staying there every year for canton fair. Not so much this time. The local personnel in the Lounge barely understand english. The service level is sub-par. The lounge food has also taken a step backwards and is not as good as it used to be. Same goes for the lunch buffet in the downstairs restaurant. This would all be tolerable if the room rate was around EUR 300, but EUR600 per night for this level of service, just not acceptable. Main problem is ofcourse the staff - for the money they charge for the rooms, they should be able to hire more competent people, who actually can speak english. Still the best beds to sleep in. Unfortunately, this won't convince me to come back again.
