Despite initial problems trying to order a takeaway/picnic lunch by phone prior to check in, overall the W Guangzhou proved to be a delightful stay.
The hotel is very contemporary and even 'busy' in decoration, the rooms are very well appointed, comfortable and clean, bathroom amenities are lovely and make for an enjoyable stay.
Breakfast at the coffee is a generous spread of Asian and western specialities and presented in an appealing manner. Room service dinner of empanadas and a curry was also excellent.
Staff at the front desk are knowledgeable, gave good shopping advise and went out of their way to be helpful.
I would like to thank Jam and Kent in particular!
Definitely a hotel to consider for my next trip to Guangzhou
