  I have stayed at this Hotel previously. The breakfast available is excellent however I feel that it has become very expensive, so try and book with breakfast included. The rooms are very spacious with a huge bed that looked like 2 double beds together , and I have never seen such a large bed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I had my wallet stolen at the Canton Fair with all my credit cards and the staff rang the police for me and helped me to report the loss etc. I find it difficult to admit due to their excellent service that I though the food in the restaurant has slipped in quality compared to my last visit. Overall an excellent hotel however the internet a little slow.

  It is a usual 5-star hotel. The amenities and services are up to standard. There are good conference facilities The standard twin room I stayed in must be about 55 sq meters large. The bed is a bit too soft for my liking. The overall maintenance of the hotel is fine. The food in the hotel are ok but probably too "Chinese" for the taste of westerners. The wifi, both free in the lobby and in room, is efficient and free.
  The main problem is its location. It is not in the city centre of Guangzhou but in the outskirt of Punju. It is at the entrance of a high class residential area. Shops in the neighborhood are few. There are no eateries within walking distance. The place is quite quiet day and night. There is a public bus to city centre but that should be quite inconvenient for visitors who come for business. It is probably better suited to be a resort hotel for relaxation, but there are not sufficient amenities in the hotel or the neighborhood for that purpose.

  Frequently traveling China, on arrival very impressive, distinct lack of english across all aspects of the hotel, one exception the young guy who took my luggage to the room from Qingdao, he needs to promoted to the front desk or bar.
  Room was good and a massive bed (sleep 4), very comfortable.
  Few drinks in the bar and had dinner up stairs at a Sichuan style place, it was okay. Gym was only okay, but not like most 5 star hotels.
  The hotel is a comfortable business hotel and not a 5 star Chateau on the muddy river.

  Upon arrival the Bellboy was playing with his mobile phone instead opening the car door. Luckily it was the only mishap I can say about the hotel. Staff seems to be friendly and speaks good English, especially the operator had a really good English and delivered a good service. The breakfast is good but pretty average, but its everywhere like this though and its reasonable priced. The rooms are spacious, the bed was in my taste too soft. The only thing which I have to complain about the room is that there is no electric outlet next to the bed. Overall the one night stay I had was pleasant. I will return if I am around next time.
