Staff is willing to help when you have or you don't have the need. They will actively ask clients about their concerns and problems during the stay. It was a nice experience and I will live here again if I visit nearby.
Could have been better

Had a smooth check in, very standard, with just the right information provided. Our main purpose for this stay was leisure, so had to chance to use the indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Overall those facilities were very clean. I was a bit disappointed to find out that we had to buy a swimming cap sold at the reception for ¥28 (quality looks like a couple uses only), would have expected the property to supply those instead of purchasing, not very five star.
The room was good and clean. Leisure travelers be aware, the location of this hotel is very close to the Canton Fair Expo, so it’s convenient for business travelers during that period, other than that, be aware that the location it’s not so close to downtown. Overall, I still love Shangri La, it was just the overall experience at this hotel the reason why I will not recommed nor stay here for future stays.

This is my first time staying with Shangri-la Guangzhou and thank you for making my weekend break so memorable.

Thank you Jessie and her team for taking care of us so well, from the moment when we arrived the hotel we were warmly greeted by bell man and Reception Team. The room is well prepared by Housekeeping team, everything is clean and tidy. We arrived very late in the evening and the turndown service was very thoughtful, we loved it. The pre-arrival contact by Jessie is also a nice touch. All these small things together will make a difference.

The buffet breakfast was very nice with various options for the food and I like the 'Chinese pancake' station that the chef will prepare the pancake in front of you! There are more than 10 food counters, and sereval coffee counters which is very convenient.

Please also deliver my thanks to Guest Relations Team in the lobby. They introduced express check out service to us which helped a lot when guests are in a rush. Meanwhile, they proactively assisted us to reserve a seat for the shuttle from hotel to city center. Thank you again!

We will come back for sure!
