I will be arriving earlier/later than the stated check-in time. Can I still check in?

Usually this is not a problem; you can arrange for an after-hours check-in with most hotels. However, you should always confirm with the hotel. You can use the "Special Requests" box in the booking process to inform them of your estimated arrival time in writing. It's important to remember that the property can't always accommodate these requests. It's always best to check with the property directly and in advance to avoid confusion. You can contact the hotel directly by calling them, the local telephone number you can get from Nehow's Local Guide after you finish the booking.

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

I want to check out after the stated check-out time. What should I do?

A late check-out can only be arranged with the hotel and usually depends on availability at the time of your stay. You can ask about the possibility at the front desk upon arrival.

We booked in last minute for this hotel, after staying in a 1-star resort which we were horrified with.
Upon arrival, the reception was friendly and accommodating. As we had relatives in one of the rooms, they were able to put us in nearby rooms so we were close to each other. Because it was last minute booking, we weren't able to secure the river view side, but we appreciated the gesture of putting us near our relatives.
The room itself was decent, with two single beds, a desk with coffee table and three really comfortable chairs. The bathroom was old but pretty decent. Amenities had a $5RMB per pack which included toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo and amenities bag.
Wifi was complimentary with decent speed and connection.
Housekeeping came daily and bins and towels were replenished if they were placed in the baskets. As they were heading into the environmentally-friendly direction, this meant that you'd need to actively place towels into baskets and a "clean me" token onto bedsheets to have them changed.
There was also complimentary breakfast served daily although the food and the environment weren't that great
Overall, considering the cost and location, it was a decent hotel with great experience.

Location is good. Room is clean. Great river view. Its a pity that the hotel do not have room service at night. Front desk area/main lobby is a little too cramp/small. Overall I would rate the hotel value at average-good.

I stayed here for about 5 days nothing to write home about, average service, staff not very helpful or friendly. Rooms a bit run down but passable. Its an okay hotel for business travellers. Not recommended for those on holiday, but on the positive side its right next to the pearl river and the boat rides.

I am not a budget traveller and was only booked in this hotel by my supplier. I already knew it will be a bad stay from the moment I saw the old dirty structure. As we got off the vehicle, there were 2 staffs standing at the door but they didn't bother to help us with our luggages.
Service was terrible. The staff were terrible. Rooms were terrible. Everything was terrible!
I requested for a non-smoking room, but I don't think there was such. I probably used up half of my cologne bottle to odorize the room.
One of the working elevators wouldn't stop on our floor so we had to alight one floor above us and walk down.
Breakfast was the same everyday and meant for Chinese guests only. On our third day, my wife shrieked when a small cockroach crawled out of the bread toaster when she used it.
I have to travel back to Guangzhou pretty soon for more business trips and told my supplier that I will make my own room reservation through Agoda next time. Definitely this disgusting hotel is out of the question.
