Comfy and spacious - skip the breakfast
ZubsZA
Johannesburg, South Africa | Aug 20, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessThe room sizes in the hotel are great, beds are decently comfortable and the wifi speeds are good. For the price you paying its more than worth it and its location close to the mtr stations are a plus.
If you ever in doubt over whether to go for the hotel breakfast though, don't even bother, dingy room with dodgy food, id rather eat the pillowcases. -
Very good

Aug 19, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessNice big spacious and clean room and also good price. Its a definitely 3 star hotel though I stay only 3 nights and was busy with business meetings..
Breakfast was excluded but I'm sure food is good. There is a seven eleven in the ground floor so it's easy to get almost everything you want.
If u have a business trip or going to stay with family for a week plan, its a good place to stay.
There is a muslim restaurent close to hotel so if you need to have some halal food you can have halal food in that restaurent. -
Everything is ok except the pillow
mosiangcloud
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia | May 4, 2025 | Trip type: Friends getawayGood rate, 10 minutes walk to nearest MRT which is quite tiring, you get all the necessities in the room including normal wi-fi speed. Some part of the room is not clean enough, i.e the kettle with molds. The cleaner refills 2 bottles of mineral water and toiletries everyday. What I dislike about is the pillow which was too soft and flat that made me headache. Room was quiet overall, sometimes you can still listen to people talking in the corridor. Not too close to the location i wish to visit but overall was ok to take bus if you know chinese words. Some eateries around but I didn't really try them out except Lohas bread shop located next to the hotel. Taxi from hotel to airport cost me CNY 86/half an hour.

Getting worse and worse
SELIMO O
Istanbul, Turkey | Apr 7, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessThe hotel has a great location. maybe I have stayed more than 20 times in this hotel since openning. Day by day the quality of the serivce and the quality of the rooms are getting worse. On my last stay ı have stayed for 6 days. the house keeping is only tidying up the beds. The floors are filthy when you walk your foots are getting terrible. There are hairs and spots on the floors. And the quality of the reception also going bad. They can only say MONEY and SORRY in English. I will never stay at this hotel anymore.

Going downhill

Toronto, Canada | Nov 26, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessI have stayed in this hotel many times since its inception. It was a fine apartment hotel supposedly managed by White Swan Hotel Management. It has just gotten worse and worse every time I went there. I usually stayed for 2-3 weeks every 6 months.
I usually booked the larger executive suite with seating area. It's usually spacious but furniture, closet, toilet were progressively falling apart every time I went there. One time, I couldn't open the closet and had to get maintenance staff to do so. The walls were beat up and washroom filled with stains and mildew. I couldn't take it anymore and switched to China Hotel. True, it's more expensive but if you book 90 days in advance, you get a good advance rate from Marriott. I haven't looked back.
Q-City was located in a convenient area with subway close by and lots of bus routes. However, the maintenance was disappointing and the hotel management is totally responsible for its demise. A few months ago, when I was staying at China Hotel, I went back to take a look at Q-City. I was appalled to find a banner outside saying that it's now available for hourly rental. I really couldn't fathom ... this hotel, once my favourite place to stay, turn into such low life! My recommendation: stay away!
