The hotel is very accessible since it's right near a metro and bus station in Haizhu square. I got to stay there in 2 different rooms for different prices. On the 20th floor it seemed really comfortable and modern. On the 7th, a little older and smaller. Breakfast was on the upper floor with a great view, but it was necessary to climb 2 flights of stairs after using the elevator. Breakfast itself was just OK, nothing great in terms of variety and taste. The staff was nice and helpful, answering my questions about surroundings and giving recommendations, but most of them do not speak good English. Also, for such size and amount of guests that come to the reception, there seems to be not enough receptionists, and I always had to wait in line to talk to them.

Overall, no complaints. This is a good three-star 351-guest rooms, non-smoking hotel. For the discounted price of about US$47 I got on Booking.com, I was satisfied with the overall features of the hotel. Staff are friendly and try to be helpful, but communication was somewhat of a challenge, since I can’t speak Chinese. Bed was comfortable, and the washroom facilities, although badly dated, everything worked as they should.

The location is good if you want to spend a day or two going through Jewellery Exchange Wholesale Market and other nearby jewellery wholesalers, OneLink Plaza, GaoDi Jie Underwear Wholesale Market, BibBin Garment Market, and Shoes Wholesale Market. All are within a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Beijing Road with its many retailers and restaurants is about a 15-minute walk from the hotel.Walking through Haizhu Square and across the Haizhu Bridge takes you into the Wedding Clothing/Dresses Market.

The hotel is frequented by tour groups.

I got to the hotel by taking Line 2 of the subway/Metro to Haizhu Square Station, and going to Exit E.

the hotel is in a very good location. just beside the haizhu sq metro station exit E. there are many eatery shops and haizhu wholesales market is just a few steps away. as u turn right from the hotel main door and across the street,there's a stretch of shops selling nice n cheap shoes. the only con is me n my mum were bitten by bedbugs on our last night in the room .we found one dead bedbug though.room is quite old and rundown. overall the service is so so. no one assist us at the lobby with our luggage though there is bellhop.

I stayed here while visiting the Canton Fair for three nights. My room was run down. The bed was hard. The hotel ran a bus to and from the Canton fair which was handy. I did not eat at their restaurant. It is close the Pearl river and I enjoyed walking along the riverside at night watching the colourful tour boats and bridges changing colour. It is very close to the wholesale electronics markets and clothing markets.
