• Nice hotel but remote

  This hotel is not in the city but is perfect if you are using the conference centre. The room was large, tasteful and clean with a really nice bathroom. It is well equipped and has lots of plug sockets for Europe and Asia. Free in room wifi. Buffet breakfast had a large selection to suit most tastes. They run a shuttle to a shopping mall in the city which you are meant to book the day before and it goes on the hour and returns 20mins from the hour about 4 times a day. It would be useful to have had this information in the room. The driver I had used a translate app to answer my questions which was really useful. The weather was hot but the hotel did not advise that the outdoor swimming was not running and there was no where to sit outside. Overall a good stay and some of the staff speak English.

  this is my 1st time to go to Fuzhou, my colleague booked this hotel for me.
  honestly, the hotel, i mean the building, room, all the facilities are nice. i think it is because it is quite new. my room view is river view and it is beautiful.
  however, the location is really remote. there is nothing nearby.
  the card sensor is terrible!!! it requires me to scan the key card for the lift and room door. i'm happy to do so to have better security. but every single time, the sensor is just error and i need to ask the staff to help. it is a kind of wasting time.
  i had breakfast there and also dinner. breakfast offered is buffet. not really good, the meat bun is cool. and i dont understand why they turn the steamer off. the rest are still OK, but i cant say it is good. i ordered a pasta for dinner as well. it is delicious but the portion is just enough for a girl who is on diet.
  in general, staff are helpful and friendly. except the girl sitting in somewhere under the stairs in the lobby. i guess she maybe PR. she ignored me when i need help to deal with the terrible card scanner

  It is a good place to stay in especially if you are attending a conference at the nearby Strait International Conference. The rooms are clean and comfortable with almost everything you need. Welcoming staff. Wi Fi all over the hotel rooms as well as the Lobby. The city centre is 15 minutes by car and the hotel provides a shuttle to and from there. Buffet breakfast menu is wide from Western to Eastern food.

  Was unfortunate enough to need much needed medicines. Hotel is a little way out of town, but was driven there by managemnt who personally ensured that I got the correct medications and returned me to the hotel
  Throughout my stay all stay were most pleasnt and helpful and managed to reatin a smile on their face even when besieged by a full complement of guests attending local expo

• Very nice newish Sheraton in Fuzhou

  First thing, this is a fairly new and very large Sheraton in the city of Fuzhou. But it is quite far from the city area, across the other side of the river in a new development area for convention/exhibition centre. So you cannot just walk outside this hotel for anything - no local shopping, no local restaurants, no local bars. Everything is quite a long taxi ride away. But if that's ok for you, then you will find everything you want inside the hotel itself. Very nice rooms, pretty good restaurants and bar. Service in club lounge still needs improving. But all in all this is a nice new Sheraton to enjoy in Fuzhou.
