• Nice clean hotel but due for facelift

  Stayed at the hotel for two nights. The hotel stands out from the rest of the surroundings and the service was excellent. Beds are pretty stiff but other than that it was a good option for a business trip.

  I went with my husband for his business trip. We were both surprised as to how big and beautiful this hotel was. The only negative I can think of was how most of the staff at Reception did not speak English. There is 1 or 2 that managed to communicate with us in English. The restaurants too, had no one that could converse in English. I know this is China, but because this is a hospitality business you would expect more staff that could communicate with foreigners - basically English, French or Spanish. That is just my suggestion, in order to cater to more tourists or foreign visitors and elevate service above other hotels.
  
  I found though that this is not uncommon with hotels in China.

• Big and pretty, but seems not fresh

  This is hotel is like 80% of the same level in China. Of course it is big, very big and fell yourself like in palace. But palace in which King is old and don't want to carry for that. Pool and water fall in lobby, gold brights but everything look like a little old. Even in the rooms which are big, clean but not "fresh". Anyway it is good enough to stay for couple nights, may be someone will like it more. Breakfast is not offering big choice of dishes. There is also a pool, which looks big but I had no time to swim.

  When I started working in China I made regular use of this hotel. It is a Chinese hotel with international will. The service is always attentive but not always under the western expectations (but cater the requirements when they are asked, if something does not like simply say it!).
  The rooms are spacious and offers 3 restaurants (don't miss the japanese one) and a buffet. The garden, pool and gym are very nice to enjoy.
  The problem of this hotel is that you need a car for anything that you want to do out of the hotel. But if people are coming to meet you or transportation is not a problem for you I really recommend it.

  I have stayed in this hotel 2 - 3 times a year for years. There are spacious rooms at reasonable prices. It has a huge Chinese restaurant and huge karaoke. Food in the restaurant is very good. Free wi-fi is available from 2014. The cleanness level is not bad considering Average cleanness level of Chinses hotels.
