  Overall a decent hotel with a few nice restaurants and a bar. The staff was mostly nice, but I also witnessed a few less professional interactions. The rooms are large, quiet and well designed. The staff at reception speaks English, but most of the other staff does not. The gym is not air conditioned - a first for a gym in this kind of climate.

  i am staying in this hotel few times a year
  comfortable location in Dalang
  It takes an hour to get here from Hong Kong - Shenzhen Border
  and about 50-60 Minuets from Shenzhen Airport.
  you can take a Taxi van from Hong Kong airport to the hotel and back
  you can order it with the hotel concierge.
  rooms are big, Clean and comfortable
  air- condition is a bit slow. hot or cold
  lounge and bar in the lobby with live music
  fair breakfast with western food.
  WiFi in the Lobby and in the rooms
  very welcoming staff
  Very Nice Out Door swimming pool open in the summer
  Price is High - considering...

  I have been coming to the hotel for 10 years and for a while it was a little run down, but I am happy to say that they are now keeping it updated and clean. The service is good, but it is hard to find someone that speaks English.

  This is a very nice hotel, with an incredible lobby unmatched by most hotels in the USA. Rooms are large and comfortable. Language skills are limited by staff, since Americans typically do not stay here.

• easy access to Hongkong from this Hotel

  This October is my 2nd experience to stay at this Hotel
  This hotel have nice room, delicious breakfast buffet and the location at Central of Dongguan City, nice interior, nice garden and the staff can speake English so easy for overseas guest can communicate with staff Hotel
  
  This hotel have access to hongkong Airport and Hongkong Urban area but we should pay RMB110/person
  This hotel have cooperation with one travel agent guest who will go to Shenzhen Port by mini van and after we arrive in Shenzhen Port we will go to Hongkong by bus
  
  But unfortunately the travel agent driver and the staff in Shenzhen Port cannot speak English, they only can speak Chinese and.... very very bad service!!!
  
  The travel agent driver (young man) very unfriendly when I ask about the procedure when arrive in Shezhen Port. The driver not answer my question and he alwayss receive incoming call from his mobile phone when he drive.
  And when I arrive in Shenzhen Port to get the bus to Hongkong, this travel agent staff (old women around 5oyears old in short hair with green uniform) angry with loud voice to me when I ask for the Q line to Yau Ma Tei area... This travel agent should do trainning to their staff to serve the passenger especially overseas passenger more helpfull and friendly
  
  We are overseas passenger and should be cannot speak Chinese like local Chinese accent so service is important thing
  
  Hopefully Hotel Royal Garden can look for better travel agent to serve their guest
  But overall for Royal Garden Hotel very very nice hotel and want to come back again in next time
  
  The bell boy at this hotel Mr. Dian (young man) very helpul as long as my stay
